William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world! Welcome to the one hundredth episode of the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is my hall of fame color commentary co-host, Michael 'P.S.' Hayes! Michael, it's number one hundred, and it's going to be a fantastic episode!"
Michael Hayes: "You got that right, Jack! We're dressed to the nines, the joint is packed to the rafters, and we've got two matches signed that would main event any card in the world!"
Regal: "Yes, we do! In our main event, CM Punk will defend the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar! Also, 'The Revival' is set to defend the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship against the current NWA World Tag Team Champions, 'The Broken Hardys!' Plus, we have two other matches besides those! So, without further adieu, let's start this night off with a Cruiserweight 'Scramble' to determine Ricochet's number one contender!"
Match One ~ "Cruiserweight Scramble" match to determine number one contendership (ten-minute time limit) ~ Johnny Mundo vs. Tyler Bate vs. Jay White vs. Solomon Crowe vs. Trent Seven vs. "Bonafide" Fred Yehi vs. Tony Nese vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne vs. "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville vs. Jonathan Gresham
There was more action in this ten-minute match than most thirty-minute bouts. Every man had at least one fall of record, with Mundo stealing three. However, the last fall of the match, and the one that counted, was grabbed by Crowe with ten seconds left. He pinned Gresham after a "Cranial Contusion." He broke up three pin attempts thereafter to win the match.
Winner = Solomon Crowe by final pinfall in a total match time of 10:00
Regal: "Wow! What a way to start this historic hundredth episode!"
Hayes: "You took the words right out of my mouth, partner!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a quick commercial..."
Before the commercial break could begin, Braun Strowman's music hit. He came out with a purpose.
Braun Strowman: "Ric Flair, get out here now!"
Ric Flair's music played to bring out the Commissioner to a rousing ovation.
Ric Flair: "Braun, you don't have a match tonight, so you need to get out of this ring. We have a huge program to get to and I'm not going to have any delays."
Strowman: "I'll get out of this ring when I'm good and ready! You put Brock Lesnar in a title match when I'm the man who has destroyed him twice, and I don't even have a match signed at all!"
Flair: "Hey pal, this is an hour-long show. There's only so many matches I can put on it. You've been in this company for a very short time and you've only had one match that ended inconclusively. You don't just come out here and demand title shots. You earn them."
Strowman: "How about I destroy your entire roster until I get what I want?!"
Flair: "How about I get Security out here to escort you out of the building?"
Strowman: "Go ahead and try!"
Security came to the ring, but Strowman bounced them all out of it.
Strowman: "What now?!"
Flair: "All right! You're not holding up this night any longer! Next week, I'll put you in a number one contender's match! If you win, you get a title shot against the winner of tonight's main event. Now, enough is enough!"
Strowman: "Fine! I'll leave the ring for now, but you haven't seen the last of me tonight!"
Flair looked concerned as Strowman walked past him and smirked.
Regal: "I don't like the sound of that. Strowman made a very ominous warning. Fans, let's go to commercial."
Regal: "We're back! We're going to keep this night rolling. Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "The New Church"--"Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & Mordecai the Zealot with "The Enchantress" Skyler Moon & The Sinister Minister vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony
This was a grudge match for the ages. The four men fought like alley cats over a discarded ham. "The New Church" has attacked "Sons of Steel" recently, and the duo wanted blood. They looked good against the "higher authority" and his "zealot." However, the sheer size and strength of Judas and Mordecai controlled the match. However, Payne and Anthony had an opening late in the battle. Mordecai missed a dive into the corner on Anthony, who ducked it and ran straight into Judas, knocking him off the apron. Boomer quickly hopped into the ring and "SoS" executed the "Steel Curtain." Before Anthony could make the pin attempt, Sinn and Pagano ran into the ring and began pounding on him.
Winners = "Sons of Steel" by disqualification in 9:12
"The New Church" laid the wood to Boomer and Brice until "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice, who had been attacked last week, sprinted to the ring with a steel chair. He waffled Sinn in the back, then nailed Mordecai in the head. He dropped the chair and hit a cataclysmic "Psycho Slam" on Pagano. Before he could get his hands on Judas, "The Priest of Punishment" slid out of the ring. Justice helped "Sons of Steel" recover in the ring. The fans cheered wildly when the referee raised their hands. Justice paced the ring, laughing maniacally. He beckoned Judas and company to re-enter the ring, but Skyler Moon and The Sinister Minister implored them to think better of it. Judas stared a hole through Justice as they walked away.
Regal: "Now, that is a volatile situation!"
Hayes: "Yep! Id' say that was some 'Justice served,' if you get my pun!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'll be back in just a moment with the first of our two main events!"
Regal: "Fans, it's time for the Tag Team Championship match! But, before the introductions, 'SoCal' Val is backstage with the NWA World Tag Team Champions! Let's take you there now!"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with the NWA World Tag Team Champions, 'The Broken Hardys,' who are about to challenge for the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship. My question is this: why would you challenge for a regional title when you already own the most prestigious title in the world?"
"Broken" Matt: "Good question, Miss Weend-Ham. You see, the seven deities have sent Brother Nero and I on an expedeetion of gold, as you probably know. It does not matter if you consider this gold to be regional in scope, for 'House Hardy' knows no region. We travel space and time with no restrictions. If we know of gold anywhere in the world, we will find it and conquer it. So, tonight, we will conquer the Time of Show Tag Team Championship of the world! Yeeeesssss! Wonderful!"
Brother Nero: "And, we will render 'The Revival' ob-so-lete!"
Matt: "Yeeesssss! They must be DELETED! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! Yeeeessss! Come, Brother Nero! The seven deities beckon us to the ring!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Let's go to Scarlett Bordeaux with the call in the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Broken Hardys"--"Broken" Matt & Brother Nero with "Broken Soldier" Gunner
Gunner, the recent convert into the "Broken Universe," joined "The Broken Hardys" at ringside. They received a big response from what amounts to a hometown crowd, as Charlotte, NC is only 100 miles away from the "Hardy Compound" in Cameron. "The Revival" And Steve Austin came to the ring accompanied by what have become customary boos. The match began with the Hardys in full control. They exhibited all of the tandem offense that made them famous. Dash and Dawson were frustrated and powdered several times. They finally took over and isolated Brother Nero for quite some time. During the middle of the match, "Southern Savior" Jon Skyler of "The House of Truth" walked to ringside slowly. Gunner met him and brought him to the ring area, where "Broken" Matt hopped down to the floor and gave him an embrace. Hady could be heard "welcoming" Skyler to the "Broken Universe" and promising to "fix" him. Skyler remained at ringside for the rest of the match. Brother Nero finally got the tag and cleaned house. All four men began to fight. Matt hit a "Twist of Fate" on Wilder. Before he could go for the pin, Dawson (the legal man in the ring) kicked Nero out of the ring and executed a "Schoolboy Roll" on Matt. Matt struggled to kick out, but Dawson had his foot lodged in the corner for leverage while holding a fistful of Matt's ring pants. The referee's view was blocked and he continued to count.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "The Revival" by pinfall in 12:28
Dawson dragged Dash out of the ring and celebrated with Austin. Matt and Nero stood in center ring confounded that the referee did not see the nefarious pinfall.
Regal: "Matt Hardy looked to have the match won, but Scott Dawson stole it from him!"
Hayes: "Easy come, easy go."
Regal: "Right you are. Fans, we'll be back after the break with our huge pay-per-view worthy main event! Stay with us!"
Regal: "Fans, this is it. The moment you have been waiting for. Joanna Rose is backstage with our champion, CM Punk. Let's go to her now."
Joanna Rose: "I am here with the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, who is about to defend that championship against 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar. You have been in the ring with Brock Lesnar several times over the years. What do you know about him that will help you defeat him here tonight?"
CM Punk: "It's really pretty simple. You see, every man has a weakness, even Brock Lesnar. I've been in the ring with him enough to know what that weakness is and I plan to exploit it tonight."
Rose: "And, what exactly is that weakness?"
Punk: "You honestly think I'm going to tell you. You know good and well Jordan Richards has spies all over this place trying to get a leg up for his men! I'm not giving away my trade secrets!"
Rose: Fair enough. what is your prediction for how this match will play out?"
Punk: "Another victory for the best in the world! Brock Lesnar may be 'The Beast,' but I am the 'Beast Slayer!'"
Rose: "A confident champion heads to the ring. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thank you, Joanna! Let's go to Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions!"
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ CM Punk with AJ Lee & "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres
Lesnar stalked Punk, who evaded him at all costs and tried to make the match a track meet to wear down his larger foe. Brock is a super athlete, though, and seems to get stronger as each match progresses. Punk picked his spots, but ultimately could not solve "The Beast" on his own. But, he ended up having unexpected help. The referee (Nick Patrick) was knocked down after a tackle from Lesnar went awry. Patrick was sent all the way to the floor. Lesnar readied for the "F-5." Before he uncorked it, Braun Strowman hit the ring and laid him out. Punk's leg was grabbed by Austin and he was pulled out of the ring while Strowman did his damage. Austin and Punk were wide-eyed and clearly did not expect "The Monster Among Men" to make an appearance. Strowman ragdolled Lesnar and pounded him in the corner. Braun scooped up Brock and leveled him with a "Running Powerslam." He hit another before exiting the ring. Brock lay motionless. Punk scurried back into the ring and made the cover. Austin threw Referee Patrick into the ring and he slowly made his count. Miraculously, Lesnar kicked out at 2.9. Punk was flabbergasted. He lambasted Referee Patrick for a slow count. Punk kicked Patrick in the head, knocking him unconscious. Punk yelled for Austin to get in the ring and help him double-team Lesnar. As "Stone Cold" went to hop up on the apron, Eve Torres ran over and tripped him. Punk, Austin, and Lee screamed at Torres, who backed away. Punk turned around just in time to be scooped up into a thunderous "F-5." A new referee (Rod Zapata) had made his way to the ring already. He counted the three before Austin could get into the ring.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 18:05
Regal: "We have a new champion!"
Hayes: "Brock Lesnar did it!"
Regal: "Oh my! He overcame the interference and sound beating from Braun Strowman to defeat CM Punk!"
Lesnar held the championship belt high as the rest of "The Richards Collective" came out to congratulate him.
Regal: "What a scene here in the ring! Fans, we're out of time, so we'll leave you with this image. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
