William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is color commentator extraordinaire, Michael Hayes! Michael, we're still trying to wrap our minds around what occurred on last week's program."
Michael Hayes: "Yes sir! Some dirty business took place last Tuesday! It looks like 'The Revival' is no longer associating with 'The Bullet Club,' but has joined up with 'The Power Trip.' We're still trying to get an answer one way or the other."
Regal: "Right you are. 'The Revival' has declined to comment this past week. CM Punk and company are mum on the subject as well."
Just then, "Cult of Personality" hit to bring out "The Power Trip," with Tag Team Champions "The Revival" en tow.
CM Punk: "Sheep, it bears recognizing what you see here before you. You have myself, the best in the world, the longest-reigning World Champion of the last quarter century. You have the most iconic superstar of the last quarter century, a six-time World Champion in his own right, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. You have my hot wife, who's the most influential women's wrestler of the last quarter century and a ratings magnet, AJ Lee. Finally, you have the best tag team to come down the pike in the last quarter century, 'The Revival.' Now, they were hopelessly out of place with those two-bit dime store thugs known as 'The Bullet Club.' Now, they're right where they belong as a part of 'The Power Trip.' Gentlemen, would you like to say a few words?"
Scott Dawson: "People have been tweeting us, sending us private messages, and pretty much have been blowing our phones up nonstop since last week. They all want to know one thing. Why did you join 'The Power Trip?' It's simple and obvious. They are the best. CM Punk is the best wrestler on earth. AJ Lee is the best women's wrestler on earth. 'Stone Cold' is the best manager on earth. 'The Revival' is the best tag team on earth, so it makes sense. When Punk came to us and invited us to join them, it was a no-brainer for us."
Dash Wilder: "Exactly right. The best hangs with the best. Pure and simple. Whether anyone likes it or not, we are now a part of 'The Power Trip.' As far as 'The Bullet Club' goes, those scrubs never deserved us! We only associated with them to create a numbers advantage. But, honestly, they soiled our reputation. It was time for a change. So, everyone can consider this your fair warning. 'The Power Trip' is here to stay and we run this company. We're the Heavyweight Champion and the Tag Team Champions. We'll stay that way as long as we see fit!"
Just then, 'The Bullet Club' music played to bring out Scott Hall and the rest of the group.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! I heard a couple of jabronis out here running down 'Bullet Club.' You two had no problems becoming our associates when it suited your needs. But, then, you crossed us. Don't think we're just going to let that one slide! Like it or not, 'The Bullet Club' is still the baddest group in this company! We want a piece of 'The Power Trip' here tonight!"
Steve Austin: "Is that so, Hall?! Well, let old 'Stone Cold' tell you how this thing is gonna go down! You don't deserve to step foot in the ring with 'The Power Trip!' If you did, we'd stomp a mudhole in you and walk it dry, just like I used to do when you were in the 'nWo!' And, that's the bottom line, because..."
Hall: "Let me stop you right there, Steve! We've heard it a thousand times before. We're taking a piece of your hides home tonight, one way or another!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Man, it's getting a little testy out here, isn't it?! Well, we can solve that problem. You two groups want to get at each other that badly? Sure, why not have a six-man tag team match in the main event?! 'Power Trip' versus 'Bullet Club,' with Hall and Austin on the outside. I like it! Now, speaking of six-man tag team matches, I have a huge announcement to make right now that affects the entire NWA! The NWA Board of Governors has decided to reintroduce the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Championship! We will begin a thirty-six-team tournament next week that will culminate at the upcoming NWA pay-per-view, 'Spring Stampede,' which will be held on April twenty-third in Phoenix, Arizona! I am going to include both of your groups in that tournament, representing NWA: Show Time. However, I am going to create a special caveat, just for you. Whichever of your two factions has the worst finish in the tournament will be disbanded! Now, I believe you gentlemen need to go prepare for your main event."
"The Power Trip," "The Bullet Club," and the fans were left speechless.
Regal: "Oh my! Jordan Richards just dropped two bombshells! There will be new NWA World Six-Man Tag team Champions, and either 'The Power Trip' or 'The Bullet Club' will be disbanded based on how they compete in that tournament!"
Hayes: "Talk about pressure! Wow! I know a thing or two about six-an tags. Not only do these two teams have to fight for the titles, but they have to fight for their existence! The team that gest the farthest will stay together, and the other guys will be left in the dust!"
Regal: "That's a life-altering stipulation for 'The Power Trip' and 'The Bullet Club!' But, they are the two biggest thorns in the side of Jordan Richards. It makes sense that he would want to rid himself of their combined power. Fans, let's go to the ring for our first match!"
Match One ~ "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice & "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with "The Enchantress" Skyler Moon vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony
This was a classic old school tag team match between four wrestlers very familiar with each other over their careers. Judas was a different superstar since aligning with Skyler Moon, who truly has entranced him. He was more aggressive and deliberate with his already devastating offense. He began the match and did not tag out for some time, until Moon finally relented Justice's repeated requests and ordered her charge to make the tag. The finish saw Justice in trouble, looking for the tag, only to see Moon instruct Judas to walk away, which he did. Justice was left to fend for himself. He was no match, ultimately, for Payne and Anthony, who hit the "Steel Curtain" for the win.
Winners = "Sons of Steel" by pinfall in 11:08
Regal: "Mikael Judas' behavior has become more and more bizarre since joining Skyler Moon."
Hayes: "A witchy woman will do that to you!"
Regal: "I suppose so. Fans, we'll be back after this break."
Regal: "We're back! Earlier today, 'So Cal' Val sat down with the brand new NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, 'Dos Reinas Rudas,' the first women to hold any sanctioned men's championships in company history. Let's go now to that interview."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Taya and Sexy Star, known as 'Dos Reinas Rudas.' They debuted last week as Jordan Richards' surprise entrants into the cruiserweight tag team 'Gauntlet' match and won the championship. Ladies, you made history as the first women to win championships in NWA: Show Time. How does that feel?"
Taya: "No different than normal. This is what we do. We've both been mixed tag team champions in Mexico. Competing against men, and beating them, is something we've been doing for years."
Wyndham: "But, wouldn't it have made more sense to compete for NWA: Femme Fatales, the preeminent women's organization in the world?"
Taya: "That's too easy. We'd dominate the competition. Now, we did sign a dual contract that will allow us to work on that brand if we choose to. But, we thought our biggest impact would be by putting all these boys in their place."
Wyndham: "Sexy, you and Taya defeated 'Worldwide Underground' in the 'Gauntlet' match last week to capture the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship. My guess is that they will be hot on your heels, along with the rest of the cruiserweight division. Are you prepared for that onslaught night in and night out?"
Sexy Star: "We are special, not like other women! We are stronger, meaner, and better! We beat men all the time! 'Dos Reinas Rudas' are the best!"
Wyndham: "So, we saw you being escorted out of the building and into a limousine by Jordan Richards right after your victory last week. What was that all about?"
Taya: "Jordan Richards is a class act. He treated us like the queens we are. We made history for his company. He wanted to make sure we are very well taken care of. It's not everyday that a commodity like 'Dos Reinas Rudas' comes along. When it does, you must give it the utmost respect!"
Wyndham: "Are you worried that other wrestlers might view that as preferential treatment?"
Taya: "Champions are owed preferential treatment! The best should be treated like the best! Valerie, you don't understand this because you are not a winner. Winners are better than everyone else and, because of that, they live a certain lifestyle that common losers like yourself don't. Winners get things like limo rides and big-money contracts. We've earned that right! The type of success we've had affords us a privileged lifestyle. Honey, we get treated exactly the way we deserve to!"
Wyndham: "Okay. My last question is this. What are your long-term goals in NWA: Show Time?"
Taya: "We are here for one reason only--to beat up all the men in the Cruiserweight division and to continue being the very best in this business!"
Star: "We will hold these titles for a long time! No one is better than 'Dos Reinas Rudas!'"
Wyndham: "Thank you, ladies. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Strong words from 'Dos Reinas Rudas,' indeed."
Hayes: "I ain't messing with them."
Regal: "Fans, let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Three-Way Dance" ~ Kevin Steen with Lisa Varon vs. Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva
This was a super fun three-way match, with nonstop action throughout. All three men had their moments in the sun. There were three-way "Suplexes," a three-way "Sleeperhold," and a three-way "Powerbomb." Ultimately, Steen hit the "Package Piledriver" on Lethal. Cole then hit a "Diving Kneedrop" onto the back of Steen's head and covered Lethal for the pin.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Adam Cole by pinfall in 15:43
Regal: "Adam Cole was won titles in consecutive weeks! He's well on his way to becoming our first 'Grand Slam Champion!'"
Hayes: "The boy is good. This time, he was lucky too!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take a commercial break, but we'll be back with more in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! It's time for the main event!"
Match Three ~ "The Power Trip"--CM Punk & "The Revival"--Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with AJ Lee and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Bullet Club"--"Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale, Hangman Page, & Cody Hall with Scott Hall and Yellow Barbie
This was a brawl. All six men beat each other senseless. Eventually, the action spilled all throughout the arena and the referee lost control of the match. He finally counted everyone out and called for the bell.
Winners = double countout in 17:49
Regal: "The referee had to throw this one out completely. It was way out of hand!"
Hayes: "They were giving each other a country whipping! That's for dang sure!"
Just then, Ricochet's music hit and he came out with Maryse.
Ricochet: "I have proven myself to be one of the greatest wrestlers in the world! I am the highest flier. I am the most athletic. I have won championships all over the globe in every weight class. I have been a heavyweight competitor here, but I'm also the king of the cruiserweights, and nothing will keep me from taking that Cruiserweight Championship from Adrian Neville!"
Adrian Neville interrupted.
Adrian Neville: "Is that so?! You think you're king of the cruiserweights?! The last time we wrestled, I had you beaten in the middle of the ring and the time limit expired! That's the only thing that saved you! I could beat you any day of the week! I'm the greatest cruiserweight who ever lived!"
Ricochet: "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, punk! Give me a title rematch right now!"
Neville: "I don't think so! You haven't earned it!"
Maryse took the microphone from Ricochet.
Maryse Ouellet: "Come on, Ricochet. Adrian clearly has left his manhood at home. We'll get our rematch soon enough."
Neville: "Ricochet, you'd better check that lady of yours. She's overstepped her bounds. Maryse, don't ever question my manhood again, or you'll be sorry!"
Ouellet: "Yeah, right! Ricochet is better than you in every way imaginable! He's better looking than you. He's a better athlete than you. He's a better wrestler than you. He's a better champion than you. I understand why you're afraid to face him right now!"
Neville: "I fear no man! Let's go, boy!"
Neville charged the ring and he and Ricochet went at it. Referee Charles "Little Naitch" Robinson ran to the ring and rang the bell.
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville vs. Ricochet with Maryse Ouellet
Ricochet and Neville immediately began to exchange blows. Neville got the upper hand and began several quick pin attempts. Ricochet kept kicking out, but each time his strength was sapped. Neville slammed him hard to the mat and went to the top rope for his "Red Arrow." Ricochet moved to avoid the blow. Neville thudded on the mat. Ricochet hit a running "Moonsault" on Neville for the quick pin attempt. Neville kicked out just after three.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 4:12
Regal: "In an impromptu match, Ricochet has become the Cruiserweight Champion!"
Hayes: "Maryse was a genius to call out Neville like that! He took the match on non notice to save face. Big mistake!"
Regal: "Fans, what an unexpected an exciting end to the program tonight! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for another edition of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
The episode ended with Ricochet and Maryse celebrating in the ring. Ricochet climbed the ropes and shouted, "I'm the king!," as Neville sulked back up the entrance ramp.
The list of the thirty-six teams competing in the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Championship tournament was aired just before the screen went black.
