"Show Time Power Hour" TV Taping Number 37 (Week 73)

William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame broadcast partner Michael Hayes! Michael, Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole made a surprise appearance last week and challenged Hangman Page to meet him in the ring this week. No word on whether or not that challenged has been accepted, but, we hope it is!"

Michael Hayes: "If Page does accept, he'll get his receipt tonight!"

Regal: "Also on the program, Dean Ambrose will defend the Cruiserweight Championship! Plus, will there be more fallout over the rivalry between newcomers 'The Revival' and the Tag Team Champions Mikael Judas and Jason Justice?! Find out that answer and more! Let's go to the ring for our first match-up!"

Match One ~ "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony vs. "The Outsiders"--Claudio Castagnoli & Idol Stevens with Black Widow

This was a great back-and-forth match. "SoS" have never ceased to impress. They work as a well-oiled machine. Boomer and Brice are best friends, and it shows in their fluidity. Castagnoli and Stevens have not teamed for as long, but are supreme athletes nonetheless. This match looked to be headed toward a "Sons of Steel" victory after they hit the "Steel Curtain" on Stevens. Black Widow came off the top rope onto the back of Anthony's head with a knee, prompting the disqualification.

Winners = "Sons of Steel" by disqualification in 12:19

After the match, Claudio, Widow, and Stevens began to lay the boots to Payne and Anthony. Kevin Steen came down to join his partners in crime. They were thwarted by "The Richards Collective," who ran them off. Afterward, The Rock grabbed a microphone.

The Rock: "Hey boys! Don't run off so quickly! The Rock is in the mood to lay the smack down some more here tonight! How about I put my Mid-Atlantic Title up against one of you?! Come on! Right now!"

Kevin Steen accepted the challenge and jumped into the ring. The referee rang the bell.

Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ The Rock with Eve Torres vs. Kevin Steen with Black Widow

This was a brawl from the get-go, and did not last very long before it broke down. "The Outsiders" interfered. Then, "The Richards Collective" interfered. It developed into a huge melee from there.

Winner = double disqualification in 5:23 (The Rock retains the championship)

Regal: "These two entities are brawling all over the arena. I don't think anyone can stop them!"

Hayes: "This thing between these two groups, and 'The Bullet Club,' is getting out of hand! They need to lock them all into a cage and let them fight to the death!"

Regal: "That's actually a very good idea! I'm going to write that down and ask CEO Jordan Richards about that! Good show, Michael!"

Hayes: "What can I say? I'm a creative genius!"

Regal: "Well, maybe so. Don't put the cart before the horse, my friend. Fans, we'll take a commercial break."

Security was called out during the break to separate all parties.

Regal: "We're back! 'So Cal' Val is standing by with the Tag Team Champions, who have a special message for 'The Revival.'"

Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with the Tag Team Champions..."

Jason Justice: "Tick, tick, tick, Val! We don't have time for introductions! The fuse is lit and time is tick, tick, ticking away!"

Mikael Judas: "You see, as Justice has said, time is melting away. The sand is rapidly flowing through the hourglass. 'The Revival' has come to oppose us. This decision will haunt their dreams. For, 'The Revival' will rue the day they chose to set themselves against us. Gentlemen, the time for mere words is up. The day of reckoning is upon you. Next week, we have chosen to defend these championship trophies against the claims that you are the best team in the land. Prepare your hearts, 'Revival.' For, judgment is nigh!"

Wyndham: "There you have it. Judas and Justice will defend the Tag Team Championship against 'The Revival' next week. William, back to you!"

Regal: "That is going to be a sight to behold! fans, it's time to go back to the ring for our Cruiserweight Championship match!"

Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Dean Ambrose vs. Xavier Woods with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva

This was a frenetic, fast-paced match, which played into the hands of the unpredictable champion. Woods got in his fair share of offense as well. He had the advantage going into the final stages of the bout. Xavier went for "Lost in the Woods," but it was blocked. Ambrose promptly turned it into "Dirty Deeds" for the pin.

Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Dean Ambrose by pinfall in 17:39

Regal: "Fantastic match! Xavier Woods gave the champion all he could handle!"

Hayes: "Yep, but he still gets the loser's check at the pay window! Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades!"

Regal: "Unfortunately for Woods, a good showing is just that. We'll be back in a few moments."

Regal: "Fans, we're back from the break and Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole has hijacked our program!"

Adam Cole: "I came out here last week and challenged Hangman Page to a fight! So, does he have the balls to show up and face me like a man?! Or, is he the scared little pansy I think he is?! I'm not leaving this ring until I get and answer!"

Just then, "The Bullet Club's" theme hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall.

Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Adam Cole, you need to take your foot off the gas for a minute! Hangman Page is no coward. He wants nothing more than to destroy you, but it's not going to be here tonight! You see, the biggest event of the year is coming up in a couple of weeks--Starrcade! If you want to face the Hangman, you can do it there. But, you'll have to put that Heavyweight Championship up to do it!"

Cole: "Whatever, Hall! If I have to put the title up to get my hands on Page, so be it!"

Hall: "Book it! Oh, and there's one more thing. This is going to be the first ever 'Hangman's Noose' match. the only way to win is to wrap a noose around your opponent's neck and hang him!"

Cole: "Sign it! I don't care! I'll kill Hangman Page at Starrcade!"

Just then, Hangman Page attacked Adam Cole from behind. He hammered on him for a few seconds, until Cole recovered and took the advantage. he dropped Page with a "Superkick" and grabbed his noose. He wrapped it around page's neck and was about to throw him over the top rope, when Scott Hall pulled Page out of the ring. Cole was seething and pacing around the ring as Hall and Page backed up the ramp. They were met by the rest of "The Richards Collective," who jumped them. The rest of "The Bullet Club" joined in the fight. They were followed by "The Outsiders," making this a three-way brawl with everyone battling. "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.

Jordan Richards: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, enough! Security, get out here and separate these people! Now, it seems that we have three groups who all think they're the alpha dogs of NWA: Show Time. Well, there is only one way to prove which group is right. I've been watching the entire episode backstage on a monitor in my office. Earlier tonight, Michael Hayes said that we should lock all of you gentlemen inside a cage and let you fight to the death! William Regal said he thought that was a brilliant idea. You know what?! Both of them are right! It is a very interesting concept. It got me to thinking. So, in two weeks, which is two days before Starrcade, we're going to make Michael Hayes' concept come to life! I'm going to have three rings set up side-by-side-by -side! I'm going to wrap a steel cage around the whole thing and put a top on it! It's going to be like 'War Games,' but bigger! I'm going to call it 'The Deathzone!' So, we'll have all of 'The Outsiders,' including Black Widow, since she likes to stick her nose into the guys' matches! We'll have four members of 'The Bullet Club,' and four members of my group. We'll lock them in their in an elimination match. If you lose a fall, you come out of the cage, until one team is left standing! I want this to be the bloodiest and most violent fight this program has ever seen! So, boys and girls, get ready! A war is coming, and it's going to be deadly!"

Regal: "Oh my! That is a huge announcement! Three rings completely enclosed by a steel cage! 'The Deathzone' match will happen in two weeks, just ahead of the Starrcade spectacular!"

Hayes: "This match will be shown for free on the Show Time Power Hour two days before the biggest event in pro wrestling! That's epic! What a 'go home' episode it's gonna be!"

Regal: "Indeed, sunshine! Fans, please join us next Tuesday on TBS for the huge Tag Team Championship match and much more on the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
