William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, we saw a very heinous act last week, as Adam Page hanged Adam Cole and severely injured his neck."
Michael Hayes: "Typical action from 'The Bullet Club!' I thought we were completely done with them, but I guess they'll continue to be a thorn in our flesh!"
Regal: "It seems so. We have been told that Commissioner Scott Hall signed Page to a contract just before our program began last week. So, he is an official member of our roster, and of 'The Bullet Club.' Fans, our Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole suffered several abrasions around his neck from the noose, as well as deep contusions and strains to his neck muscles and larynx. He will be out of action for at least a couple of weeks, per doctor's orders. CEO Jordan Richards will have a word on this situation later today. We also will have a Mid-Atlantic Championship match, as The Rock will be in action, plus that women's match between Veda Scott and Taylor Gallagher will take place! Let's go to the ring for our first contest!"
Match One ~ "The Freakshow"--Sinn Bodhi & Pagano with Karen DeLa Kreep vs. "Los Ingobernables de Japon"--"King of Darkness" EVIL & Seiya Sanada with Tetsuya Naito
This was a contrast in styles. "Los Ingobernables" exudes the Japanese strong style, while "The Freakshow" is a mixture of lucha libre, hardcore, brawling, and an unorthodox delivery that confounds many opponents. EVIL and Sanada were the class of the match athletically, but Bodhi and Pagano are as tough as nails and come coming back for more. Eventually, Evil finished Bodhi with his "Evil" (STO).
Winners = "Los Ingobernables de Japon" by pinfall in 7:19
Regal: "EVIL and Sanada were impressive, to say the least!"
Hayes: "The Japanese style is so hard-hitting. If you're not used to it, it overwhelms you."
Regal: "Indeed. I had many tours of Japan in my day, and I came home black and blue every time! We'll go to commercial. When we return, the ladies will be featured!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring, where we'll see our first ladies match in nearly a year on this program!"
Match Two ~ "Special Challenge" match ~ Taylor Gallagher vs. Veda Scott
As has been the case with many of their previous encounters, Gallagher manhandled Scott for the bulk of the match. Taylor is much stronger and is larger in stature than Veda, making it an uphill climb for the manager of "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team." Scott is no rookie, however. She has wrestled for several years and showed great toughness against the onslaught of her opponent. Gallagher has wrestled for a little while as well. Both ladies showed prowess during the match. Scott actually hit her "Saito Suplex" on Gallagher, but Taylor powered out at two. Gallagher hoisted Scott up into her "Human Torture Rack." Scott writhed in pain, but refused to give up. Eventually, the referee stopped the match due to Veda becoming unresponsive.
Winner = Taylor Gallagher by referee stoppage in 9:27
Regal: "Taylor Gallagher is an impressive specimen, but, boy did Veda Scott show some heart!"
Hayes: "She refused to quit! It's just a shame that her body gave out on her!"
Gallagher laid the boots to Scott after the bell. She was joined briefly by "The Kingdom" before "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" cleared the ring with chair shots. Gallagher was cornered and was leveled with a double "Superkick" by Benjamin and Haas. The crowd ate that one up. Haas grabbed a microphone.
Charlie Haas: "You boys want to put your hands on our manager?! Not on our watch! But, we know Veda can handle her own, so we're challenging all five of you to a ten-person 'Mixed Tag Team' match next week! We have two friends who will gladly team up with us to shut you up once and for all!"
Regal: "Oh my! This could be a blockbuster! But, does Charlie Haas know what he's asking for?"
Hayes: "Right, Jack! A 'Mixed Tag' is different than an 'Intergender' match. In a 'Mixed Tag' match, the women and men legally can fight each other! We haven't seen a true match of this kind in years!"
Regal: "Whoa! What a match this will be next week! And, who will partner with Haas and Benjamin?! Fans, 'SoCal' Val is standing by in the dressing room with CEO Jordan Richards. Let's take you to her right now."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with founder, owner, and CEO of NWA: Show Time, Jordan Richards. Jordan, we saw the attack last week by 'The Bullet Club,' specifically newest member 'Hangman' Adam Page, which left the Show Time Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole injured. What can you tell us about the severity of that injury and recuperation time you anticipate?"
Jordan Richards: "First of all, thanks for conducting this interview, Valerie. Yes, Adam Cole did sustain a notable injury at the hands of Adam Page. He had contusions and abrasions to his outer neck by Page's noose. He also sustained damage to his larynx, which has made talking a difficult proposition right now. There were severe strains essentially of all of his neck muscles, which will only heal with time off. Now, as our Heavyweight Champion, that is easier said than done because Adam defends the championship regularly on our live event tours. However, Adam must not engage in any physical activity for at least two weeks. He will be re-evaluated again at that time by our doctors. Every title defense he already had scheduled will be honored once he is cleared to resume competition. No new contracts will be signed on his behalf in the interim. But, Adam has already made it clear that he plans to deal with the 'Hangman' when he returns."
Wyndham: "Now, being the CEO of this company, it would seem that you could keep 'The Bullet Club' from adding to its ranks and attempting another coup."
Richards: "I'm glad you brought that up, Val. Because, I can and will make sure that Scott Hall does not stage another takeover attempt. As Commissioner, Scott Hall does have the power to sign talents to contracts. However, our legal team has amended that authority to ensure that he no longer signs contracts without my knowledge or consent. Furthermore, our lawyers have drafted an injunction that has been filed, which mandates that 'The Bullet Club,' by virtue of previous actions and threats, is to be considered a hostile entity and will not be allowed to expand any further than it has already. In other words, 'Hangman' Page is the last new member that group will ever see in NWA: Show Time!"
Wyndham: "Wow! That's an unprecedented ruling. I doubt Scott Hall will take that well."
Richards: "I'm sure he won't. But, his only other alternative is to resign and walk away. So, if he wants to maintain a job around here, he'll comply."
Wyndham: "Can we expect some retaliation against 'The Bullet Club' for their actions of late?"
Richards: "Not only should you expect it, but you should bank on it! Ready or not, 'Bullet Club,' it's show time!"
Wyndham: "Thank you, Mr. Richards. William, back to you."
Regal: "I have never heard of this sort of regulation that Jordan Richards has put into place to ensure that 'The Bullet Club' does not have another uprising."
Hayes: "Hey, I can't blame the cat! He's protecting his assets! I'd probably do the same in his shoes. At least they still have jobs!"
Regal: "When we return, The Rock will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back and it's time for our main event! Wait, we're getting word that there is some sort of disturbance backstage. We've dispatched a cameraman to the scene. Let's cut to that now!"
The scene cut to the backstage hallway, where The Rock was being beaten up by "The Outsiders." After a few seconds, the rest of "The Richards Collective" made the save.
Regal: "'The Outsiders' have made a statement by attacking The Rock!"
Hayes: "They have made a statement all right! They have jumped on one of the big dogs! It looks like they want a main event slot!"
Just then, "The Outsiders" came to the ring. Kevin Steen snatched a microphone away from ring announcer Scarlett Bordeaux.
Kevin Steen: "The world thought we'd be forgotten after we left 'The Bullet Club!' Wrong! We're are here to stay and we deserve to be in this position, in the main event! We are the best wrestlers this company has to offer! They say that the top group in this Show Time is 'The Richards Collective!' Well, we just took out one of your members! Now, we want the rest of you! Forget the Mid-Atlantic Title match! We want 'The Richards Collective' in the ring right now!"
Regal: "Kevin Steen just called out 'The Richards Collective!'"
Hayes: "Does he know what hell awaits them now?!"
Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Ricochet came barreling out of the entrance and were met by Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, and Idol Stevens. Black Widow even got in on the action. She was jumped by AJ Lee, who took her out with a "Tarantula." Jordan Richards came out dragging referee Charles Robinson with him and demanded that he ring the bell and declare this a "No disqualification" match. Referee Robinson complied to create a six-man tag team war.
Match Three ~ "No Disqualification Six-Man Tag Team" match ~ "The Richards Collective"--"The Beast" Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, & Ricochet with AJ Lee, Carmella, and Eve Torres vs. "The Outsiders"--Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, & Idol Stevens with Black Widow
This resembled a car crash. There was no catch-as-catch-can or sweet science involved. This was a turf war, plain and simple. "The Outsiders" want to remain relevant in the main event mix, so they picked on the group which owns all of the singles championships. The action went on for quite a while before Ricochet ended it with his "630 Senton Splash" on Stevens that was set up by a "GTS" from Punk.
Winners = "The Richards Collective" by pinfall in 26:32
The action continued after the bell. Finally, Scott Hall led out "The Bullet Club," which attacked everyone. Standing in a sea of bodies, Hall grabbed a microphone.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! If anyone is the main event around here, it's us! Jordan Richards, you want to hold us down?! Go ahead and try! We don't need any more members to take this joint over! We just laid out everybody! By the way, Kevin Steen, you stole my gimmick! There is only one set of 'Outsiders,' and it's me and big Kev! Don't forget it! We kicked you out of 'Bullet Club' because you and your buddies just weren't good enough! Jumping on my gimmick ain't gonna make you any better! This thing is just getting started! 'The Bullet Club' is for life, and it's real, chico!"
Regal: "Wow! That was a strong retort from Scott Hall and 'The Bullet Club!'"
Hayes: "Yeah. They can't get any bigger, but they may not need to!"
Regal: "Fans, what a surreal scene. What we have now is a three-way battle playing out before us in a war of supremacy. 'The Richards Collective' vs. 'The Bullet Club' vs. 'The Outsiders.' This could get very ugly. Unfortunately, we're out of time. Join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
The episode went off the air with "The Bullet Club" standing tall while everyone else recovered.
