William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of famer broadcast partner, Michael Hayes! Michael, it gives me great pleasure to be the first to congratulate 'Team NWA' for winning the 'Armageddon" match and ridding the wrestling world of the McMahon family for good!"
Michael Hayes: "You said it, Jack! Ding, dong, the witch is dead, baby! Man, it feels good to say that!"
Regal: "Fans, if you were unfortunate enough to miss 'Fall Brawl to End it All,' you missed a history-making event! The world was watching as the night eclipsed the all-time pay-per-view buyrate record for any wrestling event. It eclipsed the attendance record for any single night, single venue sporting event in history. It became the most watched televised wrestling event of all time, with an estimated one hundred million Brazilians tuning in on free TV. The massive success of this event has solidified the NWA as the standard bearer in all things pro wrestling! Now, we welcome you to our weekly broadcasts, which will take a decidedly new tone!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Well, well, well. The simple fact that I am standing here proves won thing. We won!" (the crowd went crazy)
Richards: "I told Vincent Kennedy McMahon that his days in this sport were numbered. I told him that, for once in his privileged, charmed life, he would lose. I told Vince McMahon that this sport was better off without him in it. Now, I have but one thing to tell Vinnie Mac. Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye! Now that we got that part out of the way, how about we get some pro wrestling, huh?!"
"The Bullet Club" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall and the rest of the male contingent from NWA: Show Time.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Do you think this thing is over, chico?! It's not over by a longshot!"
Richards: "Well, I say it is. You all are back on my payroll now, so I would mind your P's and Q's, if I were you! By the way, how'd you like that little swerve Adam Cole and I perpetrated on you guys?!"
Hall: "Adam Cole is a dirty little chump who turned his back on us when we needed him the most! I hope he gets what's coming to him!"
Richards: "Oh, he already has."
"The Richards Collective" all came out to what must be their group theme: "Feel Invincible" by Skillet. Adam Cole and Maria Kanellis were en tow with huge smiles on their faces.
Richards: "You just don't get it, do you, Scott?! We threw one by you! Adam Cole never was in 'The Bullet Club!' He was a plant! We devised this plan to gain intel from the inside of your gang. Didn't you ever think it odd that Adam had very limited physical interaction with any of my other guys?! Or, how about the fact that he approached Vince out of the blue and asked to join?! That didn't strike you as a little weird either?! We suckered you in hook, line, and sinker, and you bought the whole thing! I've never you before, pal! Never make the mistake of crossing the boss! I knew I needed to stay one step ahead of you after the crap you guys pulled on me in the beginning. Cole didn't come back to us on Sunday! He never left!"
Hall: "Richards, you and this company will pay for what you've done! I will have the last laugh! You can't fire me, so you're gonna have to keep dealing with me and 'The Bullet Club' for a long time to come!"
Richards: "That may be the case, but the rest of the roster vastly outnumbers what your little group has been reduced to now that you can't cooperate with other territories! Before you try to jump on my back again, you might want to shore up your squad. You guys were having some problems on Sunday! But, I'll let you work that out among yourselves! We've got some celebrating to do!"
"The Richards Collective" left ringside while "The Bullet Club" remained.
Hall: "If we're going to succeed at taking over this company, we've got to get everything back on track! Now, there are four of you who really let us down on Sunday. Steen, you had the match won and you couldn't get your fat tail up the ladder fast enough! You and your buddies Claudio, Idol, and Neville all got yourselves cuffed to the ring and left us to take up your slack! I don't appreciate that, and I know Fale has some issues with you as the 'Under Boss!' You guys lost the match for us!"
Kevin Steen jerked the microphone away from Scott Hall abruptly.
Kevin Steen: "Wait a minute, Scott! We all busted our butts for you and the McMahons! We left certainty for uncertainty on your promises of glory! And, now, you're blaming us for losing the match?! That's a load of crap! If you guys knew what you were doing, we never would have been in that situation to begin with! You're the idiots who messed this whole thing up!"
Bad Luck Fale and "Guerillas of Destiny" attacked Steen from behind. Claudio Castagnoli and Idol Stevens attempted to stop the beating, but were taken out as well. Adrian Neville was jumped last of all. Hall, Fale, "GoD," and Cody Hall left their victims laying.
Hall: "They say you have to be beaten in and beaten out of a gang! Consider this your out, chumps! We're starting over! Mark my words, Jordan Richards, you will deal with 'The Bullet Club' again soon!"
Regal: "Wow! It seems that Scott Hall will never learn! It didn't work with the 'nWo,' it didn't work with 'The Bullet Club,' but he still keeps trying to take over!"
Hayes: "The dude has some money! Why doesn't he just start his own promotion?! That would be a lot less of a headache than trying to take one over!"
Regal: "Seems reasonable to me. Nevertheless, we have to get this episode started! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "House of Truth"--Jay Lethal & Xavier Woods with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, and Dana Adiva vs. "The All-Americans"--"Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle & "Universal Soldier" Gunner
This was a grudge match of the highest order stemming from "HoT" unceremoniously dumping Gunner from the fold. He and new friend and partner Angle tore into "Lethal Consequences." The match was frantic and chaotic, with constant diversions by Martini and the "Hotties." Eventually, Angle caught Woods in the "Ankle Lock." Just as he was about to tap out, Mike Madden and Jon Skyler hit the ring for the save.
Winners = "The All-Americans" by disqualification in 9:02
Regal: "This war is just beginning! Angle and Gunner are taking a beating!"
Hayes: "That won't sit well with Kurt or Gunner!"
"Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team," longtime friends of Angle's, stormed the ring to even the odds. This allowed Angle and company to fight off "HoT."
Regal: "I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this newly developed feud playing out!"
Hayes: "These guys want at each other bad!"
Regal: "We'll be back with more after this commercial break!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! 'SoCal' Val is backstage with Kevin Steen and friends. Val, what say you?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, Idol Stevens, and Adrian Neville, who were attacked and ousted from 'The Bullet Club' at the top of the program. Kevin, what are your thoughts right now?"
Steen: "Thoughts?! We're pissed! That's what our thoughts are! We left everything to join 'The Bullet Club!' And, they blame us for losing the match?! I was this close to winning the match for our team! That's the thanks we get?! We busted our humps night in and night out! Now, we're out of 'The Bullet Club!' Show Time doesn't want us back! We're on our own! We're the second coming of 'The Outsiders' now! In fact, you know what, Val? That's what you can call us! We're 'The Outsiders!'"
The group stormed off before Wyndham could respond with another question.
Wyndham: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "'Outsiders,' indeed."
Hayes: "When you join a group like 'The Bullet Club' and you get tossed, you become a man without a country."
Regal: "They are on the proverbial deserted island right now. We'll see where they all go from here. Fans, let's go back to the ring for a Television Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Ricochet with Carmella and Eve Torres vs. Tetsuya Naito with "King of Darkness" EVIL
Ricochet has been an outstanding addition to the Show Time roster since joining several months ago. He has been a proud and defending Television Champion as well. Naito has been with he company since day one and has always been a winner. he has yet to taste gold, but has many wins and at least one tournament victory under his belt in NWA: Show Time. Ricochet and Naito put on a fantastic match-up that went the fully-allotted twenty-minute time limit.
Winner = time limit draw in 20:00 (Ricochet retains)
Both men were raring for more. The referee agreed to extend the match by five minutes. Naito charged, but Ricochet caught him in a super quick "Small Package" for the pin.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Ricochet in a total match time of 20:06
Regal: "What a turn of events!"
Hayes: "We got a restart and a pin in five seconds!"
Regal: "Phenomenal work by both men! Instant classic! We'll be back with more in just a moment!"
regal: "Fans, we're back. Jordan Richards has agreed to give 'Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team' a championship rematch against 'Meiyu Tag,' which captured the titles in the 'Scramble' match on Sunday. Let's go to this match, with television time remaining."
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Meiyu Tag"--Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata with Lana vs. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas with Veda Scott
Both teams kit into each other with tenacious determination. It was clear all four men lusted for gold in this match. "Meiyu Tag" was their strong-style best, but "WGTT" has extensive experience in Japan and they engaged that style tit for tat. Ultimately, Lana made the difference. She provided a distraction to Haas that allowed Goto and Shibata to dump Benjamin out of to the floor, then level Charlie with a double "Penalty Kick" for the win.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "Meiyu Tag" by pinfall in 14:47
Veda Scott jumped Lana after the bell. The fans went wild as the catfight was on. Both teams separated the ladies before "WGTT" issued a challenge for another rematch. Jordan Richards came out an obliged, offering that, next week, we'd see that rematch. But, he added the wrinkle that Scott and Lana would be tied to one another to ensure that there was no interference from either lady.
Regal: "That was another fantastic match that ended controversially! But, we'll get the treat of a rematch next week. So, join us again Tuesday on TBS for another edition of the Show time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
