*OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM THE NWA BOARD OF GOVERNORS*

On Sunday, September 25, at 7 PM EST, the NWA's most important event to date will take place. Entitled Fall Brawl to End it All "Armageddon," the event will emanate from historic Estadio de Maracanã in beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Due to the volatile nature of the attempted takeover of the NWA by the McMahon family and "The Bullet Club," the main event of this historic event will feature a match that truly captures the "winner-takes-all" scenario. The "Armageddon" match will feature a variation of this famed CZW "Cage of Death" configuration:

This match promises to be violent, brutal, and will change the face of professional wrestling forever. Should the contingent representing "The Bullet Club" win the match, Vince McMahon immediately will become Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors, as well as the CEO for both NWA: Show Time and NWA: Femme Fatales. Should the NWA contingent win the match, no member of the McMahon family (immediate, extended, married, or offspring thereof) may own a promotion, promote an event, or operate in any administrative capacity in professional wrestling ever again. Furthermore, "The Bullet Club" would be forced to disband as a multi-promotional stable and would be relegated to any remaining members performing for their contracted promotion only, with no cross-promotional work as a unit, ever again. Should an uprising attempt occur in conjunction with this particular stipulation, "The Bullet Club" as intellectual property would lose its trademark and would cease to be.

The NWA's Fall Brawl to End it All "Amrmageddon" set a new precedent in the history of pro wrestling and pay-per-view extravaganzas. All told, the crowd inside Rio de Janeiro's Estadio de Maracana and outside the venue in the closed-circuit TV locations reached nearly 200,000 people, eclipsing the all time record previously held by the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair-Antonio Inoki main event match seen in front of 190,000 Korean fans in 1995. Preliminary pay-per-view reports indicate that this event has shattered the all-time record for PPV buyrates of a sporting event worldwide.

The NWA Board of Governors were present at the event, as well as the NWA "Legends of the Squared Circle" Consulting Group, whose spokesman Jerry "The King" Lawler acted as the de facto emcee of the event. There were Spanish subtitles on the big screens that dictated every word spoken by the ring announcers. There was a Spanish commentary team (Hugo Savinovich and Carlos Cabrera) to coincide the English commentary team (Jim Ross and Matt Striker) for the pay-per-view broadcast. For the first time ever, fans were allowed to choose the commentary language when they ordered the pay-per-view.

The following is a quick rundown of the match results:

The first match was a barn-burner and was part of the opening round of NWA: HAWK's multi-promotional "Dog Fight Challenge." It pitted Andrew Everett against AR Fox. Both men were eager to ply their wares in front of the massive crowd. The first near fall came after an "AR-KO" to Everett, who kicked out at 2.9. Everett recovered and hit a double rotation "Moonsault" that got a 2.9 count of his own. Both men traded knockout blows, though unsuccessful in getting the finish. The match saw a "Kickflip Dive," a "Spike Hurricanrana," and a "Dutchman's Boot." Everett gained control and went to the top, presumably for his "630 Splash." Fox scaled the ropes and quickly caught Everett with "Lo Mein Pain" as both men crashed to the canvas. Fox draped an arm over Everett's chest for the cover and pinfall.

Winner = AR Fox by pinfall in 13:18

Match two featured every single tag team NWA: Show Time had to offer that was not a part of the night's main event. It was a tag team "Scramble" match, set for a thirty-minute time limit, where falls counted anywhere in the building. The object was to be the final team to capture a fall before the time limit expired. That team would walk out the champions. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) was at a distinct disadvantage, as they could dominate the match, but still lose the championship. The match ended with extreme controversy, as "WGTT" got a pin at the 29:28 mark inside the ring. However, unbeknownst to them and the in-ring referee, "Meiyu Tag" (Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata) got a fall after a brutal double "Penalty Kick" on Psycho Clown at the 29:57 mark (in the dressing room), just before time elapsed.

Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "Meiyu Tag" by pinfall in a total match time of 30:00

All teams were brought to ringside while the referees conferred. "Meiyu Tag" finally received word that they had won the match and the championships. They jerked the title belts from the referee's hands and ran to the back, celebrating with manager Lana and fellow "Axis of Evil" members Miroslav Barnyashev and Sheamus. Benjamin and Haas, along with manager Veda Scott were understandably dejected in center ring, having thought they had done the impossible and retained.

Match three showcased the ladies of NWA: Femme Fatales, as "Ladies Night" Ultra Champions "Queen Kongs" (Aja Kong & Awesome Kong) defended their championship trophy against the challenge of Chelsea Diamond and good friend Miyako Matsumoto, who normally competes in the Bantamweight division. Matsumoto was the shining star of the match. Even though she was the smallest in stature, she showed herself tenacious in battle, actually managing to take both massive Kongs off their feet at different junctures of the bout. Diamond and Miyako fought valiantly, but it was not to be as the behemoths hit a double "Spinning Backfist" on Diamond for the pin.

Winners and STILL NWA: Femme Fatales "Ladies Night" Ultra Champions = "Queen Kongs" by pinfall in 11:39

A break in the action brought out Jerry Lawler once again. Lawler announced that two more events will round out the NWA calendar for 2016. There will be a live episode of NWA: World of Wrestling in October, followed by Starrcade 2K16 on Thanksgiving night in November. More details concerning both events will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

The action ramped up again with the final promotion-specific match-up of the night, which pitted the NWA: Stars & Stripes Champions "The Colony" against the mysterious challengers, "Hardcore Ninjaz." The championships were on the line in this one and the action was fierce. Fire Ant and Soldier Ant represented the champions, as that faction functions off of the "Freebird Rule." The Ninjaz are virtually unknown to the general population. while rumors have swirled over the years, their identities have never been found out. The Ants did what ants do. They fought beyond their size and strength. Ultimately, the stars were not aligned for the champions. New Stars & Stripes co-owner The Green Phantom made a surprise appearance at ringside and distracted Fire Ant, who then fell victim to a "Shotei Palm Strike/Leg Sweep" combo that decimated him.

Winners and NEW NWA: Stars & Stripes Tag Team Champions = "Hardcore Ninjaz" by pinfall in 22:43

The Phantom grabbed the championship belts and handed them to his charges, who posed, then walked defiantly to the back with the championship titles held high.

The final two matches on the docket were all about the NWA vs. "The Bullet Club." The first match pitted "The Bullet Club" ladies--a mixture of NWA: Femme Fatales and NWA: Hawk stars--against corresponding members of the same two rosters. The advertised stipulation stated that, if "The Bullet Club's" male contingent won in the main event, Stephanie McMahon would take AJ lee's position as General manager of NWA: Femme Fatales. Before the match got started, AJ confronted Stephanie and demanded that another stipulation be agreed to. AJ proposed that, if the NWA's male contingent won in the main event, NWA: Femme Fatales' "Bullet Club" faction must disband entirely. McMahon initially balked, but AJ goaded her with talk of Vince McMahon's infamous "grapefruits" and the notion that Stephanie did not posses the same "equipment." Stephanie took offense, but still balked at the stipulation until her jaws were rung with a slap from Lee. That was enough to get McMahon to agree, and the match was on. This was a phenomenal contest from the opening bell. Every woman involved had her moment in the sun, so to speak. There were points where it looked as if chaos would reign, but the referee managed to maintain some semblance of order. In the end, "The Bullet Club" undid itself as "Under Boss" Mio Shirai was caught sneaking in a foreign object, which got her team disqualified.

Winners = "Team NWA" by disqualification in 17:54

Stephanie McMahon was irate, screaming mercilessly at Mio. McMahon could be heard shouting, "You better hope our guys win the main event, or I'll end your career!" Mio popped back, "You and what army?!"

Shirai was then jumped by McMahon, who made the rest of the team join in on the beating, effectively ousting Mio from the group. Mio was saved in surprise fashion by "Team NWA" and was reunited with her sister Io and "Joshi Mafia," of which she is a former member.

It was time for the main event. A fifteen-minute intermission took place inside the arena to set up the demonic "Armageddon" structure. As commentators discussed the saga of Vince McMahon, his family, and "The Bullet Club" attempting a full-scale coup of the NWA, fans gasped in the background as the structure was set up. It towered some thirty-plus feet above the arena floor. Once in place, the ringside barrier was re-established by armed guard. Two "bucket trucks" ushered in NWA Board of Governors Chairman and NWA: Show Time/Femme Fatales CEO Jordan Richards and "Bullet Club" front man Vince McMahon into the ringside area, where they and attendants were lifted to the top of the "Armageddon" structure. Richards and McMahon were then locked into their separate cages, where they would await the victor (who would unlock a cage, allowing one of them to sign the contract for the win). McMahon would not go quietly, so Richards gave him a hearty shove into the cage, which was quickly locked by an attendant. The briefcase containing the stipulatory contract was hung between them. Fans cheered as the trucks left ringside, as the anticipation was building to what would be a fantastic crescendo soon enough. Commentators remarked of the spectacle that sat before them and how there would be violence and carnage, the likes of which none of them may have seen before. Jim Ross set the stage wonderfully, as only he can.

Adrian Neville and Dean Ambrose began the match, and they went at each other ferociously. Both men were bleeding within a minute, as they used the razor wire to slice one another's foreheads to ribbons. One by one, members of each team entered the war zone. This was almost sickening to watch at times, due to the sheer brutality and blood loss from each man. Adam Cole was the last man to enter the match on behalf of "The Bullet Club." When he walked out, he had a sling on his arm. He looked to be injured and was limping and noticeably favoring his left arm (which was in the sling). Cole's "injury" was no injury at all. It was a ploy to bring weapons to the match, which he smuggled in through the sling. His "BC" mates laughed as he took handcuffs out of the sling. Tama Tonga walked up to grab a set, but was clocked by Cole with a right hand! The crowd went crazy as Cole threw out four sets of cuffs to the NWA team members, who promptly began to lock up "Bullet Club" stalwarts. All told, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, Idol Stevens, and Neville were locked to the structure and were defenseless for several minutes before being freed up after bolt cutters were found underneath the ring. The NWA team managed two falls before the four could be freed up. The match continued on, as three falls needed to take place before any team could gain access to the ladders to climb to victory. "BC" evened the score after using the bolt cutters as weapons. Several minutes went by before a third fall could be had. Kazuchika Okada got a third fall for "The Bullet Club" with the "Rainmaker" on Ambrose. Kevin Steen began to scale the twenty-foot extension ladder to retrieve the briefcase. The ladder began to sway, which caused Steen to slow down his pace. Vince McMahon screamed from above for Steen to hurry. Down below, CM Punk hit "GTS" on Cody Hall for the NWA's third fall. Brock Lesnar began to trek up the ladder quickly, as the NWA contingent kept the rest of "BC" at bay around ringside, not allowing them to assist Steen. Steen reached the briefcase and took it off its hanging loop. He went to open it, but was met by a right hand from Lesnar. He hit Lesnar with the briefcase as they teetered precariously at the top scaffolding of the "Armageddon" structure. Lesnar stepped in and scooped up Steen into "F-5" position. He dropped him groin first onto a retaining pole. Steen promptly dropped the briefcase down to the ring below. CM Punk saw the case, grabbed it, and virtually ran up the ladder with the handle in his mouth. As he made it to the top of the structure, he realized he had been followed by Raymond Rowe. Lesnar intercepted Rowe on the ladder and they went at it as Punk opened the briefcase. He was attacked from behind by a recovered Steen, and the two began to wrestle over the key. Steen had Punk nearly over the side of the scaffold, but Punk used his feet to lock himself into place against the retaining poles and ousted Steen from the proceedings. Kevin was able to grab onto a ladder on the underside of the scaffolding. He hung on for dear life, but eventually lost his grip and plummeted into a group of his teammates fifteen feet or more below. Lesnar knocked Rowe off the ladder. Punk waved the key in front of Vince McMahon, then laughed as he unlocked Jordan Richards' cage. Punk handed the blood-soaked contract to Richards, who quickly signed it.

Winners = "Team NWA" in a total match time of 40:28

Richards stepped out of the cage onto the scaffolding and held the contract high for all to see. Jim Ross was losing his mind on commentary as the fans were going ballistic inside the arena and running around maniacally on the outside. Vince McMahon slumped down into his cage with his head in his hands. He began to wail in emotional agony as Richards, Lesnar, and Punk climbed down the ladder to the ring for the celebration. "Bullet Club" bodies were strewn everywhere, as they lay in exhaustion and defeat. The NWA contingent, every one tinged with the buckets of blood lost, dragged themselves together for a team embrace. Richards hugged Adam Cole specifically, as the two shared a hearty laugh and some unheard comments. Everyone walked out together as Vince McMahon was unlocked from his cage and climbed back down the ladder. He berated Steen specifically and everyone else on "The Bullet Club" team as he was escorted out of the building by Security.

To recap, per the stipulations agreed upon prior, "The Bullet Club" as a unit no longer can function in a multi-promotional capacity. "The Bullet Club" women's contingent in NWA: Femme Fatales must disband completely. The McMahon family--immediate, extended, or married--is no longer authorized to function in any administrative capacity whatsoever in the sport of professional wrestling, so long as it remains a sport on this earth.
