William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the hall of famer, Michael Hayes! Michael, on today's program we have an NWA World Heavyweight Championship match for the ages!"
Michael Hayes: "That's right, Billy boy! Two hosses are about to lock horns for the first time ever on television! 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar is set to defend against 'Priest of Punishment' Mikael Judas, one of the only guys on the roster capable of making Brock look normal sized!"
Regal: "This is going to be a massive main event! Also on the episode, Kevin Steen has issued an open challenge to defend the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship, with the blessing of the McMahon family and Commissioner Scott Hall."
Hayes: "Something ain't stirring the Kool-Aid on that one! 'The Bullet Club' is always griping about title defenses being thrown together and not knowing who their opponents are! It makes no sense for them to reverse course now!"
Regal: "I agree. They must have some ace up their collective sleeve. That remains to be seen. Let's go to the ring for our first match-up!"
Match One ~ "The Kingdom"--Michael Bennett & Matt Taven with Taylor Gallagher vs. "The Freakshow"--Psycho Clown & Murder Clown with Karen DeLa Kreep
This was Gallagher's true introduction to NWA: Show Time, as she cut a promo concerning replacing Kasey Ray, whose guidance of "The Kingdom" seemed suspect based on their floundering in the company. The former bodybuilder and fitness competitor casts a beautiful and intimidating shadow. "The Freakshow" came out guns blazing with manager Karen DeLa Kreep and her entourage en tow (Jenn O. Cide, Isis the Amazon, & Staysha SheHulk). Gallagher and Staysha had a head-to-head stare down during the match that got fans to their feet. Meanwhile, the 6'9" Isis "Cokeslammed" Bennett (after he spat in her direction), causing the disqualification.
Winners = "The Kingdom" by disqualification in 9:20
After the match, Gallagher confronted Isis, who stepped up to Taylor and stood head and shoulders taller. Bennett and Taven quickly pulled her out of the ring before a physical confrontation could be had, much to the disdain of the crowd. DeLa Kreep grabbed a microphone.
Karen DeLa Kreep: "So, it's 'The Kingdom' you represent, is it? Well, we represent everything that is macabre and unholy. We are the antithesis of order. We are utter chaos and anarchy. We march to a drumbeat that only we hear. Ms. Gallagher, I saw the fear in your eyes when you encountered my Amazon, Isis. Yet, you talked such a tough game before the match began. So, what, pray tell, is the truth of the matter, my dear? Are you tough or does 'The Freakshow' frighten you? Hmm? Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? I propose a match for next week. You and your 'Kingdom' step into the ring with my 'Freakshow.' Five of you versus five of us. What do you say, pretty, pretty, pretty girl?"
Taylor Gallagher: "You've got it, you weird little skank!"
Kreep: "Weird am I? Yes. Yes, indeed. Skank am I? I think you are projecting your own self-loathing onto me. Nevertheless, sleep tight my dear. The clock of your demise has begun to tick. Your days are numbered. Tick tock, Taylor. Tick, tock..."
Regal: "'The Freakshow' gives me the heebie jeebies."
Hayes: "They straight up scare me! I'm man enough to admit it!"
Regal: "It sounds like we are going to have a ten-person inter-gender match next week!"
Hayes: "Let's get it on!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back next with Kevin Steen's open challenge. Stay with us!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! It's Heavyweight Championship time! Let's go to the ring and Scarlett Bordeaux!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship Open Challenge ~ Kevin Steen with Yellow Barbie vs. ?
Steen came to the ring with the entire "Bullet Club." He had a microphone in hand.
Kevin Steen: "So, the prize fighter is out here looking for a fight. Oh, but it's not just any fight I wish for! I want to put this beautiful championship belt on the line! So, I'm challenging anyone back there who is man enough to face me to get to the ring right now! But, I feel it necessary to let the locker room in on the stipulations for this open challenge. You see, I'm not going to defend this championship against anyone I have beaten previously, so you idiots cans top chanting for CM Punk! I've already destroyed that has-been! I want a new challenge! I want to take on someone I have embarrassed all over the territory! So, who's it going to be?!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" Saliva hit to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "I knew you weren't serious about a true open challenge, Kevin. Otherwise, there'd be thirty guys back there chomping at the bit to get you in the ring! So, you'll only defend the championship against someone you have not faced yet. Since I like to spread the wealth with title opportunities, you've faced just about everyone who competes as a singles wrestler. Most of the time, you get yourself disqualified or counted out to keep that championship around your waist. But, based on your criteria, it doesn't matter. However, I do know of one person who is a part of this company, and whom I can guarantee you've never wrestled against before, much less defended that title against! He just so happens to have his gear here too!"
Steen: "Yeah, right! I've beaten everyone you've got! That is the point I am trying to make!"
Richards: "Yeah, you've beaten them all...except one. I'm going to send us to a commercial break. When we come back, your opponent will make his way to the ring!"
The episode went to commercial with the fans going ballistic.
Regal: "Fans, we're back and we're still awaiting the arrival of tonight's title challenger."
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva hit once again.
Regal: "That's Jordan Richards' music. Is he going to introduce the challenger?"
Hayes: "Maybe the sound man made a mistake and played the wrong entrance."
Just then, Jordan Richards came through the entrance with his wrestling gear on. The fans went nuts, in complete shock that the retired founder, owner, and CEO of the company was standing there, in his gear, posing. Richards was taping his fists as he approached ringside. He stepped into the ring confidently, taking the microphone from Scarlett Bordeaux.
Richards: "That's right, pal! Tonight, you're fighting me! I still hold a valid wrestler's license and I signed a talent contract when I started this company! You've never faced me and I've never challenged for that championship!"
Steen: "Is this is joke?! This is hilarious!"
Richards: "This is no joke! I am deadly serious! I'm tired of my title being wrapped around the waist of such an underserving champion! You have alienated everyone in my locker room tonight with this bogus open challenge, so I'm calling your bluff! We're going to end 'The Bullet Club' for good in a few short weeks, but, here tonight, I'm looking to end your title reign!"
Steen: "Fine. It's your funeral. But, don't say I didn't warn you!"
Richards: "Let me give you a word of warning, Kevin Steen! I'm not as good as I once was, but, for one night only, I'm going to be as good as I ever was! Just to make things interesting, 'The Bullet Club' is banned from ringside, as always. And, we're going to make this a 'No Holds Barred Streetfight!' It's you and me, pal! One-on-one!"
The fight started with an exchange that would have made a hockey fight look tame. Richards actually had plenty of gusto. He took the fight straight to Steen, refusing to back down. Steen eventually gained the upper hand after taking the fight to the floor. The two fought into the dressing room area, where Richards once again took over. That momentum came to a screeching halt as "The Bullet Club" attacked, which was perfectly legal since the action was not at ringside, where the group technically was banned from. They decimated Richards, then bloodied him with a steel rod. "The Richards Collective" came to his defense and fought off "The Bullet Club," but the damage had been done. Steen hauled Richards back to the ring and planted him with a "Package Piledriver." Richards was beaten, bloodied, and nearly unconscious. Steen made the nonchalant cover. As the referee's hand approached the mat for the third time, Steen quickly pulled Richards up. He shook his finger and mouthed the words, "No, no, no!" He hoisted Richards up for another "Package Piledriver." This time, his cover was more deliberate. As the referee began to count, CM Punk ran from the crowd with a steel chair and bashed Steen in the back with it, breaking up the pinfall. He slammed the chair across Steen's back three more times, then lifted him up and dropped him with the "Go to Sleep." The fans were rabid as he placed Richards on top of Steen. With the "Streetfight" stipulation in place, all that was perfectly legal. So, the referee began to count.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = "The Show" Jordan Richards by pinfall in 15:03
The crowd rose to its feet in unison as the practically lifeless Jordan Richards was dragged out of the ring by Punk. The referee handed him the championship belt as he rested his full body weight against Punk's shoulder. Punk raised Richards' hand in victory. Jordan was just beginning to realize he'd won the match. "The Bullet Club" came stomping down to ringside, but were once again cut off by members of "The Richards Collective," which helped Richards escape through the crowd. The McMahon family and Commissioner Scott Hall were beside themselves.
Regal: "Do you believe in miracles?!"
Hayes: "Yep, and I believe in getting by with a little help from your friends, too!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship match next!"
Regal: "The building is still shaking after that last match! Let's see if our two heavyweight behemoths can top it!"
Match Three ~ NWA World Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas
The tone was set early that this was to be a slobber knocker. Lesnar nailed a "German Suplex" that was amazingly shrugged off by the 6'8" Judas. The crowd could barely contain itself as the two traded blows in center ring. This was a back-and-forth match-up, much more competitive than Brock Lesnar is used to, I'd wager. Judas kicked out of an "F-5." Lesnar powered out of a "Chokeslam." Judas hit "El Crucifejo," but Lesnar somehow rolled a shoulder at 2.9. Lesnar hit three straight "Germans," followed by a huge "F-5" for only the second pinfall defeat--and first clean one--of Judas' Show Time career (the other being the Mid-Atlantic Championship loss that was marred by outside interference).
Winner and STILL NWA World Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 27:39
After the match, both men shook hands as the crowd gave them a standing ovation.
Regal: "That was absolutely phenomenal by both men!"
Hayes: "Brock Lesnar proved he's the best there is, and Judas proved he belongs in that same discussion!"
"The Bullet Club" then approached the ring once again, surrounding ringside with their massive numbers. "The Richards Collective" ran down to the ring, followed by Jason Justice, Dean Ambrose, Kurt Angle, and "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team." Judas joined Lesnar and company in the fight, which looked like the craziest "Battle Royal" in wrestling history.
Regal: "These program-ending fights seem to be a recurring theme these days!"
Hayes: "Yeah, but we love every one of them!"
Regal: "Fans, I hope you've enjoyed this history-making episode! We've run out of time. Join us again next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
