William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. My broadcast colleague is hall of famer Michael Hayes! Michael, what an explosive ending we had to our program last week!"
Michael Hayes: "It was on fire, baby! 'The Richards Collective' showed up unexpectedly and Jordan Richards called out Vince McMahon in one of the fiercest rants I've ever heard!"
Regal: "Jordan Richards has had enough. He and his entire group were taken captive and held against their will, away from their families, for a week. I can scarcely imagine it. Then, to forego pressing kidnapping charges just so that they could extract a beating from 'The Bullet Club' themselves, he must have something violent in store for Vince McMahon and company."
Hayes: "It's gonna be one hellacious beat down! I can tell you that!"
"The Bullet Club's" music hit to bring out the entire group, led by Commissioner Scott Hall.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! So, Jordan Richards is gonna come out here and lay down a challenge?! He's calling out 'The Bullet Club?!' Jordan, are you out of your mind?! Have you forgotten that we're the ones who took all of you into the woods and held you for a week?! We did that! And, you're calling us out?! That's not how it works! We run Show Time! We run Femme Fatales! We have thrown down the gauntlet! We could have made you disappear and no one would have found you! We let you survive and we let you be found! That's the only reason you can talk about it now! The fun and games are over! We're shutting this thing down right now! You said for us to get together with every member of 'Bullet Club' across the world and take you on! Be careful what you wish for, Jordan! You're about to get it!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out "The Richards Collective."
Jordan Richards: "Scott Hall, you still can cut a mean promo, can't you? Well, I fancy myself a stick man as well. So, here we go! You're right! 'The Bullet Club' outnumbers us. But, I have friends all over this globe; friends you know nothing about. I can make one or two calls and have twenty more guys right here, right now! You don't want to see what sort of destruction I can bring upon you! Remember, I don't wear a white hat! I'm not a 'good guy!' I am capable of unspeakable evil! I's about to be unleashed on 'The Bullet Club!' You see, I approached this whole scenario from a business standpoint, initially. I was trying to protect my investment. Well, being tied up in a dank, dark, musty cabin with these people, not knowing where we were or when we'd see the light of day again, it woke something up in me. Something began to rise inside me that I have not felt in quite some time. It was utter hate and disdain! You see, when things become personal, they take on an entirely new meaning. Well, I can tell you one thing for sure. This thing is personal to my core! I will stop at nothing to end this hostile takeover! Vince McMahon, you, Stephanie, Triple H, Scott Hall, and the rest of the crew better listen well. I am giving you fair warning! You are about to suffer in a way that you cannot conceive! Danger lurks around every corner for you! I told you last week that this is no longer a war, and I meant it! You are about to enter Armageddon! And, I promise, you will not survive it!"
Hall: "We'll see!"
Richards: "Yes, you will! In fact, you'll start seeing it tonight! The Mid-Atlantic and Television Championships will be on the line tonight! You want to talk about throwing down a gauntlet?! That's exactly what you're going to get! Both champions will defend their titles in 'Gauntlet' matches tonight. Not only that, but these won't be random draw format. Your guys will start both matches! If they want to keep their belts, they'll run through the entire field to do it! Champions in my companies have to earn it! Oh, and another thing! I may not be able to fire or suspend Referee Summer Rae because of that ironclad contract you signed her to. But, I spoke with my corporate attorney and I can demote her! She has been relieved of 'Senior Official' status. Also, she no longer will be allowed to referee matches for NWA: Show Time! She will only be allowed to officiate for NWA: Femme Fatales! And, she never again will be the main official for any match involving 'The Bullet Club!' Instead, she'll be the outside official and the woman inside the ring will have the call! Oh yeah! I have one last piece of information to give you. Going forward, 'The Bullet Club' is suspended from ringside for all championship matches featuring its members! Don't like that?! Too bad! You guys have never been interested in fair play! Well, now it's time to have a taste of your own bitter medicine! "
Summer Rae was seen crying as Scott Hall tried to console her. He was overheard promising to "fix this," as he and the McMahon family scowled at Jordan Richards. Vince McMahon was heard yelling, "You won't get away with this, Richards!"
Regal: "I have a feeling the summer is about to get very, very brutal."
Hayes: "This fight will be long and it will be bloody!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll take a quick commercial break. When we return, I'm told the Television Championship 'Gauntlet' will take place!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring and announcer Scarlett Bordeaux!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Gauntlet" match ~ "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville vs. Sinn Bodhi with Karen DeLa Kreep vs. "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden vs. Ricochet with Carmella
The match began with Neville and Bodhi, who is an unorthodox character, for sure. He had Adrian off his game for a bit. Neville finally settled and took over. As he prepared to hit the "Red Arrow," hardcore luchador Pagano ran out of the back and knocked him off the top rope, effecting the disqualification of Bodhi. Pagano then laid the boots to Neville as Bodhi recovered. Officials pried Pagano off of Neville as Bodhi looked on puzzled. Karen DeLa Kreep grinned with great relish as she nodded at Pagano and Bodhi. Sinn finally got the message that a new member had joined "The Freakshow" and laughed maniacally. Bodhi, Pagano, and DeLa Kreep left ringside together.
Madden entered the match next and used his technical acumen to ground Neville. He hit his "Flatliner" finish, but Neville stretched his foot into the ropes in desperation. Madden was incensed as he saw his opportunity go by the wayside due to unfortunate ring placement. Madden berated the referee, to no avail. Neville eventually came back and hit the "Red Arrow" for the victory, but fatigue had set in noticeably.
Ricochet came out to a mixed reaction (due to recent behavior). Before he could get to the ring, Claudio Castagnoli came out of the crowd and threw Ricochet into the fans. He took a steel chair and blasted Ricochet with it several times. Claudio then threw Ricochet over the barricade, technically never setting foot at ringside. Neville picked Ricochet up and threw him into the ring and implored the referee to ring the bell. He had no choice and the match was on. Immediately, Neville went for a cover, but Ricochet kicked out at 2.9. Adrian planted Ricochet with a "Power Slam," then went to the top for another "Red Arrow." Ricochet got both of his knees up, sending Neville crashing down with full force against his ribs. Ricochet tried to mount an offensive, but was staggering from the many chair shots he took from Castagnoli. Neville capitalized on his woozy disposition to drop him with a "Michinoku Driver." Neville scaled the ropes again and finally hit the "Red Arrow" for the win.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Adrian Neville in a total match time of 15:18
Regal: "Though he had quite a bit of help to dispatch of former champion Ricochet, Adrian Neville still was impressive in defending the Television Championship!"
Hayes: "He's one of the best in the business, but he beat Ricochet solely because of Claudio Castagnoli's interference!"
Regal: "Indeed. Ricochet may need to go through the concussion protocol after all those head shots. He was quite wobbly during the match. Fans, we'll take a break and be back with more! Stay with us!"
Ricochet was escorted to the back by trainers. He still seemed a little out of it, but left under his own power.
Regal: "We're back. Let's go to the trainer's room, where Ricochet is being looked at. Carmella is standing by with him."
The scene switched to the training room, where Ricochet was being given a concussion protocol test. The trainer could heard saying that he did not think that Ricochet had a concussion, but did believe he suffered a mild stinger, which caused his dizziness and inability to regain his composure. At that moment, CEO Jordan Richards approached.
Richards: "Ricochet, I'm glad to see that you're going to be fine. I did notice that those rogue punks in 'The Bullet Club' caught you from behind as you approached the ring. In these times, it's good to have someone watching your back. 'The Richards Collective' could be that someone. I'm always open to adding to my group. You'd be a welcome addition. Both of you, in fact. Think about it."
As Richards walked away, Ricochet and Carmella looked at each other, almost in bewilderment, as the trainer continued to ice and massage Ricochet's neck.
Regal: "Will we see Ricochet and Carmella join 'The Richards Collective?' I suppose we'll see."
Hayes: "I love this kid! I think it would be a fantastic career move for both of them! He's one of the best in sport and Carmella is awfully easy on the eyes!"
Regal: "Yes, she is, sunshine! Let's go back to the ring."
"The Axis of Evil"--Barnyashev Miroslav & Sheamus with Lana vs. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas with Veda Scott
Benjamin and Haas have gotten much more aggressive since aligning with Scott. They really executed sharp offense against their foreign opponents. Veda began to jaw back-and-forth with Lana near the match's conclusion. This distracted Lana's beau, Miroslav, who was caught with a "Backstabber" by Haas, which led to the breathtaking "Springboard Shooting Star Press" by Benjamin.
Winners = "WGTT" by pinfall in 7:29
After the match, "The Kingdom" laid waste to "WGTT" and Kasey Ray did the same to Veda Scott. "The Kingdom" kept shouting, "It's our time!"
Regal: "Oh my! That was unexpected!"
Hayes: "It looks like 'The Kingdom' is going to take out everyone they see as taking their spots!"
Regal: "Fans, at this time, 'SoCal' Val is standing by with Mid-Atlantic Champion Claudio Castagnoli, who is set to defend his championship in a 'Gauntlet' match next. Take it away, Val!"
Valerie Wyndham: "Claudio, you have been forced to defend your championship in a 'Gauntlet' match against four other competitors. You will be without 'The Bullet Club's' normal advantages, like the entourage at ringside or Referee Summer Rae. What is your mindset going into this match?"
Claudio Castagnoli: "What do you mean, our 'normal advantages?!' Are you saying I haven't earned this championship?! I am a proud and defending champion! I travel from the Carolinas, to Tennessee, to Virginia, to Georgia, to Florida, and back, defending this belt against all comers! I don't need any advantages to beat the bums on this roster! I am one of the greatest technical wrestlers on the planet! I speak five languages fluently! I am good enough and smart enough to overcome the 'no win' situation that Jordan Richards has put me in! It is blatant abuse of power! But, I will show the world just how good I am when I keep my title anyway!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William!"
Regal: "We'll see just how good Claudio Castagnoli really is without the assistance of his brethren. Let's go to the ring for our main event!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Claudio Castagnoli vs. Bully Ray with Zahra vs. Kurt Angle vs. Dean Ambrose vs. The Rock with Eve Torres
Castagnoli began with tough competitor and hall of fame caliber superstar Bully Ray. Ray worked Claudio over, but the "Swiss Superman's" ability shone through. He got by Ray after "The Neutralizer."
Kurt Angle came out next to a good reaction. He and Castagnoli put on a classic in the match's longest leg. They went back and forth, trading holds, counter holds, and submissions. Angle had the "Ankle Lock" cinched in and Claudio very nearly tapped, but made it to the ropes. After the break, Angle approached, but Castagnoli grabs his trunks and launched him into the corner. On the rebound, Claudio rolled him up. After the count of one, Castagnoli put his feet on the ropes for leverage, out of the referee's view. Angle could not leverage a kick out from that position.
Angle lambasted the referee for missing Claudio's blatant use of the ropes, but he simply was focused on Angle's shoulders. Angle left, dejected.
Ambrose came running out and attacked Claudio before his thirty-second rest period was complete. The referee tried to break the two up, but Ambrose shoved him away. The referee went back to the scrum, but again was shoved off by Dean. After Ambrose shoved him to the mat for a third time, the referee called for the bell, throwing Dean out of the match for not allowing the fall to begin legally. Dean went crazy and punched the referee in the gut before hitting "Dirty Deeds."
A second referee came out to replace him as The Rock came to the ring to a massive ovation. He laid the smack down on Castagnoli until Claudio thumbed him in the eye. He then caught The Rock with a low blow outside the referee's view during an attempted break-up in the corner. Claudio went to work, targeting The Rock's head and neck in an obvious set-up for "The Neutralizer." As the match grew more heated, Claudio went for a "Crossbody Press" off the ropes, but Rock ducked. Castagnoli crashed into the replacement referee, knocking him to the canvas. Castagnoli uncorked a foreign object shot, blasting The Rock into next week. He covered, but the referee was still trying to rouse himself. Ricochet came out of the crowd and ran up the ropes, hitting a "630 Senton Splash" onto Castagnoli, who bounced off The Rock. Ricochet rolled The Rock over onto Castagnoli and shook the referee on his way out of the ring. The referee performed a slow, groggy, deliberate count, but he made it to three.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = The Rock by pinfall in a total match time of 22:10
The crowd ate it up as Ricochet came into the ring with the title belt and presented it to The Rock. The rest of "The Richards Collective" came to the ring to congratulate The Rock. Jordan Richards was seen holding up his index finger and mouthing the words, "That's one!" Ricochet and Carmella shook hands with Richards, seemingly signaling their entrance into "The Richards Collective."
"The Bullet Club" hit ringside and a huge brawl broke out.
Regal: "This thing is getting out of control!"
Hayes: "It's hot, baby!"
Regal: "Fans, we're out of time! We'll stay with this through the credits for as long as we can! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
Mikael Judas, Jason Justice, Dean Ambrose, Kurt Angle, and several other stars emptied the locker room. The episode concluded with a massive melee.
