William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Joining me is hall of famer Michael Hayes. Michael, we've got a whale of an episode lined up this week!"
Michael Hayes: "That's right, Billy boy! Vince McMahon and his 'Bullet Club' cronies are on fire after 'The Richards Collective' gave them a good, old fashioned beat down at the end of last week's show. They want retribution. McMahon has promised to address the situation here tonight."
At that time, "No Chance in Hell" blared to bring out the McMahon family and "The Bullet Club." Fans booed vociferously and littered the ring with debris as Vince, Stephanie, Triple H, and their cronies scowled.
Vince McMahon: "You rednecks shut your mouths! A civilized man is talking! Jordan Richards, you put a mob style hit out on my 'Bullet Club' last week! Prepare to pay the consequences this week! We challenge your group to a match here tonight! That is, if you have the guts to take us on face-to-face, without jumping us from behind!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out Jordan Richards and "The Richards Collective." Richards was chuckling on the microphone.
Jordan Richards: "Oh my goodness! Thanks for the laugh, Vinnie Mac! I haven't had one that hard in quite a while! Are you seriously admonishing us for jumping your jabronis from behind?! Your guys have made a career here in NWA: Show Time on sneak attacks and double-crosses! Now, you want to call us out for using your methods against you?! Ha! As far as your little challenge goes, 'The Richards Collective' gladly accepts! In fact, we'll take on your best five in the main event here tonight! I told you, old man, that this war is far from over! We won't go quietly into the dark night! Get ready for battle, because we're about to bring the thunder!"
Regal: "Whoa, Nelly! That is going to be a blockbuster main event!"
Hayes: "Ten-man tag, baby!"
Regal: "That, coupled with the Tag Team Championship on the line, make this a must-see TV spectacular! Fans, let's go to the ring for our first match-up!"
Match One ~ "Aces High"--Bully Ray, D-Von, & Knox with Zahra vs. "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle and "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
This was a gang war from the outset. "Aces High" bent every rule they could and used the interference of Zahra at each opportunity. Angle and friends fought valiantly, but the odds seemed stacked against them. There was a sequence that saw Zahra attempt to interject herself, only to be caught by Angle and put into the "Ankle Lock" momentarily until she was saved by D-Von. Benjamin hit a scintillating "Springboard Shooting Star Press" to the outside, taking out all three "Aces High" members at once. The match ended with D-Von caught in the "Ankle Lock."
Winners = Kurt Angle and "Wrestling's Greatest tag team" by submission in 8:27
Regal: "This feud is still going strong! I don't know if the ring can hold those six!"
Hayes: "They need to have a 'Badstreet' match! That'll settle it!"
Regal: "That's actually quite an entertaining suggestion. Fans, we'll be back with more in just a moment."
Regal: We're back from the break. Our resident woman on the scene, Laura Cruz, is on location in Boyle Heights, California, home of our new Television Champion Ricochet. let's take you to an interesting interview that took place with them earlier."
The scene shifts to a gym/dojo setting, where Ricochet is shown working out.
Laura Cruz: "Hello, again! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz. Typically, I can be found reporting from the backstage area of NWA: Show Time television tapings and live events. This week, I have been flown across the country to Boyle Heights, California. As you can see behind me, our Television Champion Ricochet is involved in his very unique training regimen, which includes judo, Brazilian ju-jitsu, parkour, and various aerobic exercise. Let's look in for a moment."
Ricochet continues his routine for a minute or two later, then sits down on a bench near Cruz.
Cruz: "Ricochet, you are a world renowned superstar who was most recently with NWA: HAWK before coming to NWA: Show Time. You have won New Japan's 'Best of the Super Juniors' tournament and have held countless championships around the globe. You invited us to your home to get an inside look into your life and training regiment. What is it that you would like people to know about you that they don't already?"
Ricochet: "Well, I've never really gotten to tell my story. I requested my release from NWA: HAWK to pursue solo opportunities (he was part of the 'Inner City Machine Guns' tag team). I got a call from Jordan Richards himself and he flew me down to Charlotte to sign the contract. I sort of burst onto the scene without any of the build-up that usually follows new signees. He wanted me to make an immediate impact. I guess you could say that I did. I just want Show Time fans to see what I'm about outside of the ring."
Cruz: "We can tell that you are into training, and spend many hours doing so when you are not in the ring."
Ricochet: "I've been training since I was a teenager. Fitness is always something I've been passionate about. I have incorporated my love for parkour and MMA into my repertoire inside the ring. I feel it gives me an edge over most of my opponents."
Cruz: "You've been in NWA: Show Time for less than a month and you are a champion already. What is your goal for the rest of 2016?"
Ricochet: "I hope to defend this championship for the rest of the year. I'd also like to take a shot at the Heavyweight Championship. I want NWA: Show Time to win this war with 'The Bullet Club,' so I plan on being involved in that as well."
Cruz: "Now, you said that Jordan Richards himself called you and flew you in for the contract signing. What was that call like?"
Ricochet: "It was surreal. He literally called me within an hour of hearing that I had been released from HAWK. He has a good relationship with that company and I think the owner gave him a heads up. He was the last person in the world that I expected to hear from, especially that quickly. But, he said he was a fan of mine and that he had big plans for me if I signed with Show Time. When he gave me the numbers, I had to go for it! Now, I'm glad I did."
Cruz: "Ricochet, we thank you for inviting us to Boyle Heights to sort of re-introduce yourself to the wrestling world. I predict big things on the horizon for this superstar! Fans, our time is up! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "What a fabulous look into the personal life of one of our newest stars, Ricochet!"
Hayes: "I am very high on this guy. He is a future megastar!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, it's time for our Tag Team Championship match! Let's go to the ring!"
A brief video package aired highlighting last week's debut of JC Dazz, who joined former partner Jason justice to reform "The Boogaloo Crew" and defeat "Guerillas of Destiny" in a non-title match. Triple H was so upset over the incident, he agreed to a title match this week.
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Guerillas of Destiny"--Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa with Commissioner Scott Hall, the McMahon family, and Yellow Barbie vs. "The Boogaloo Crew"--"Ticking Time Bomb"--Jason Justice & JC Dazz
JC Dazz picked up where he left off last week, wowing the crowd with his precise and athletic delivery. Justice relished every second of it, obviously happy to be back in the ring with his old friend. The McMahons and company continued to make their presence felt in this match, eventually causing the disqualification after Justice and Dazz hit their patented finisher.
Winners = "Boogaloo Crew" by disqualification in 18:37 ("Guerillas of Destiny" retained the championship)
Triple H, Scott Hall, and "GoD" went after Justice and Dazz with great fury. The fans went ballistic when "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas, who hasn't been seen for weeks, ran to the ring and laid out "Bullet Club." He stood tall with Dazz and Justice, who begged "BC" and the McMahon family to get into the ring.
Regal: "The 'Boogaloo Crew' had the titles won, if not for the outside interference."
Hayes: "Those jokers know how to save their belts. I give them that!"
Regal: "But, it is very good to have a Mikael Judas appearance! We haven't seen him in quite some time."
Hayes: "I guy that big and strong is always good to have on your team!"
Regal: "Folks, we'll be back with our ten-man main event next!"
Regal: "Here we go!"
Match Three ~ "The Richards Collective"--"The Beast" Brock Lesnar, The Rock, John Cena, "The Viper" Randy Orton, & Adam Cole with CEO "The Show" Jordan Richards, Maria Kanellis, and Eve Torres vs. "The Bullet Club"-- "Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, Idol Stevens, & Cody Hall with Commissioner Scott Hall, the McMahon family, and Yellow Barbie
"Bullet Club" made its triumphal entry into the ringside area, big smirks on everyone's faces. We would all soon find out why, as a camera caught Adam Cole laid out in the hallway adjacent to "The Richards Collective's" locker room. Lesnar and company made their way to the ring without Cole and Kanellis, who volunteered to stay behind with Cole as trainers worked on him. So, it became a five-on-four "Handicap" match very quickly. This was an instant classic until ten minutes in. Then, the lights went out at PNC Music Pavilion. When they came back on, the fans in attendance went deathly silent as they saw this image in the ring:
Adam Cole had joined "The Bullet Club!" He stood by as they beat his former partners without mercy. Maria Kanellis came to ringside and took out Eve Torres from behind as Jordan Richards looked on dumbfounded. Scott Hall walked over to a camera man and pulled him in to show him a cell phone photo, allegedly taken at "Carowinds" amusement park in Charlotte earlier in the day:
The referee could only stand by as "The Bullet Club" took out Lesnar, Cena, and The Rock, leaving Orton to take two "Package Piledrivers" from Steen. Scott Hall ordered the referee to count.
Winners = "The Bullet Club" by pinfall in 11:08
The fans were peppering the ring with debris as Cole and Maria laughed and hugged Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Scott Hall. Fale and Castagnoli then attacked Richards. Hall, Triple H, and Vince McMahon took part in laying the boots to him.
Regal: "Oh my Lord! I cannot fathom this!"
Hayes: "Adam Cole and Maria Kanellis just turned their back on the owner of this company, who brought them in and put them into his group! This is crazy!"
Regal: "I cannot put my thoughts into words right now. Fans, this has just reached a new level of mind-blowing insanity! We'll have more on this developing story on the upcoming edition of the Show Time Power Hour, right here on TBS next Tuesday. For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal. Good night, everyone."
Hayes: "That might be the nail in the coffin..."
