William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me, as always, is hall of famer Michael 'P.S.' Hayes! Michael, what an episode we had last week!"
Michael Hayes: "You got that right, Jack! We saw the return to the wrestling world of the McMahon family: Vince, Stephanie, and Triple H. That was one of the most surreal moments I have ever been a part of! I needed a stiff drink after the show went off the air!"
Regal: "Fans, we're still reeling from the last few minutes of the broadcast a week ago. I never thought I'd ever see any of those people again in life. For them to be THAT up close and personal, was like a gut punch."
Hayes: "You got that right!"
Regal: "Well fans, we have an exciting episode on tap for you this week! A new group, 'The Freakshow,' will debut here today! Also, our main event will see 'The Varsity Boys,' of John Cena and Randy Orton take on members of 'The Bullet Club!' Without further adieu, let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "The Freakshow"--Sinn Bodhi with Karen DeLa Kreep vs. "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden
Bodhi and DeLa Kreep paraded around the ring before the match ever started, their sinister carnival music playing in the background. Madden seemed to be affected by the abnormal mannerisms of Bodhi and never got his footing in the match. Bodhi finished him off with "Tallulah Belle."
Winner = Sinn Bodhi by pinfall in 7:48
Regal: "What an eccentric pair those two make."
Hayes: "Yeah. At least they don't scare each other."
Bodhi took a microphone.
Sinn Bodhi: "'The Freakshow' is here! My dark carnival has come to town, and we plan on an extended stay. But, be warned. This carnival is not for the faint of heart. Week by week, people will walk into 'The Freakshow,' but they won't walk out. Come one, come all!"
Regal: "Well then. Fans, we'll be back in a moment."
Regal: "We're back from the break. Let's head back to the ring."
Just then, "No Chance in Hell" blared over the PA to bring out the McMahon family with Commissioner Scott Hall and all the members of "The Bullet Club."
Vince had a microphone.
Vince McMahon: "Last week, we walked in with all the championship gold this company has to offer. This week, we walk in with those championships still intact. I told you that my family was going to take over the entire NWA, and I meant it! As far as anyone stopping us, I'd say that they have no chance in..."
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen," by Saliva played to bring out Jordan Richards and the entire "Richards Collective." Jordan Richards had a microphone of his own.
Jordan Richards: "No chance to stop you, huh? yeah, you keep dreaming, old man! Not only will 'The Bullet Club' and the McMahon family be stopped, but NWA: Show Time will be on the front lines making it happen! You have always said that you hold this sport and everyone involved with it in the palm of your hand. Well, this time one year ago, that rug was ripped right out from underneath you. There is no more pro wrestling monopoly! Titan Towers no longer exists, pal! And, as both a territory owner and as the Chairman of the Board of Governors, I make it my personal mission to ensure that your form of tyrannical rule never exists again!"
McMahon: "The federal government has tried more than once to beat me and they couldn't Do you think I'm afraid of you?!"
Richards: "No, I don't. That's what will make our victory over you all the sweeter. You've never lost. You've never really been put out of business, have you? Well, all of that changes on my watch! I don't care if you see me as a threat or not. Frankly, I hope you don't. That which you refuse to take seriously will one day be the very thing that ends it all for you. Guess what, Vinnie Mac?! Your day is coming!"
McMahon: "Your right. My day is coming. The day I get back everything I lost!"
Richards: "Keep dreaming, Vince! Every season comes to an end at some point. Your season in the sun is winding down. One day, it's going to be you and me for all the marbles. I've never lost a fight when everything was on the line. I refuse to lose to you! We will win! And, when we do, the sport of professional wrestling will win! The fans will win! The world will win!"
Vince and Jordan had a nose-to-nose stare down in mid-ring as the fans went ballistic, chanting, "This is awesome!," to the tops of their lungs. Triple H got up into Richards' face and was confronted by NWA World Champion Brock Lesnar. This nearly started a riot, but Vince and company backed down.
Regal: "From an employee's standpoint, this entire scenario has me nervous. From a fan's perspective, this is some of the most exciting TV I've seen since the late 1990's!"
Hayes: "I know exactly what you mean!"
Regal: "Fans, let's go to 'SoCal' Val, who is standing by with a few special guests."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'The Kingdom' and their manager Kasey Ray. Gentlemen, this group looks vastly differently than what it was one year ago."
Michael Bennett: "That's right, Val. We were once aligned with Jordan Richards and his crew. Then, they unceremoniously dumped us for the has-beens who are in the group now. At the time, Matt and I were lost. We didn't know where to go next. Then, we ran into Matt's old friend Kasey. She got signed and became our manager. Her first order of business was to reconstruct 'The Kingdom.' To our surprise, our biggest rivals, 'Killer Elite Squad,' were the first ones she approached. They liked what she had to say, and here we are. What seemed like a nightmare ended up being the best thing that could have happened to us!"
Wyndham: "Kasey, what made you go after 'KES?'"
Kasey Ray: "They are a quality tag team; one of the best in the world, in fact. Davey and Lance are maulers, and I wanted 'The Kingdom' to have an edge."
Wyndham: "Davey, you guys went from being fierce rivals with Bennett and Taven to being their partners. What kind of transition has that been?"
Davey Boy Smith, Jr.: "We weren't sure about it right off the bat. But, we decided to go for it. These guys earned our respect. They're a quality unit. Lance and I will only attach ourselves to a group that worth something. Kasey Ray had a great pitch and she has a vision for the future. The bottom line is, 'The Kingdom' is here to claim our throne!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "It will be very interesting going forward if this new incarnation of 'The Kingdom' can be as successful as the last."
Hayes: "They have all the tools. That's for sure. The question is, will they use them?"
Regal: "Back to the ring for our next match-up."
Match Two ~ "The Future of Flight" Ricochet vs. BUSHI with Tetsuya Naito
This was a fast-paced lucha style match, which suited both wrestlers. Ricochet has extensive experience in all disciplines. BUSHI has been trained in the art of lucha as well as puro. BUSHI had the upper hand for a while, thanks to some timely interference by Naito. Though, it was interference that led to BUSHI's downfall in the match. Naito sought to help out his "Los Ingobernables" stablemate once more with an assist. This time, he nailed BUSHI instead after Ricochet ducked the blow. Ricochet then caught Naito with an "Enziguiri" that knocked him off the apron. He hit a "Michinoku Driver" on BUSHI, then scaled the ropes for his picturesque "630 Splash," which sealed the deal.
Winner = Ricochet by pinfall in 9:27
Regal: "Boy, that Ricochet is impressive!"
Hayes: "He's a machine! I'm telling you, big things are on the horizon for this man!"
Regal: "When we return, we'll have our main event of the evening!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back and it's time for main event action!"
Match Three ~ "The Varsity Boys"--John Cena & "The Viper" Randy Orton vs. "The Bullet Club"--Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli with Commissioner Scott Hall, the McMahon family, & Yellow Barbie
This was a knock-down, drag-out fight, but a wrestling clinic at the same time. Each competitor was strong in battle. Steen and Orton had a spine-tingling chop exchange in center ring. Cena went strength for strength with Castagnoli in a "Suplex" war. Twenty minutes in, the action was still hot and heavy. Steen charged Cena, but was scooped up into an "Attitude Adjustment." Cena was too weak for the cover, as he had absorbed some punishment to that point. He finally made a cover, but Steen managed to raise his shoulder at 2.75. Cena eventually made the tag to a fired-up Orton, who took out everyone and their dogs. he hit "RKO's" on both Steen and Castagnoli to the crowd's delight. As he went for the cover, the lights went out. They stayed out for several seconds. When they came back up, Orton was laid out and this man stood in the ring:
The audience was stunned as "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson stood tall in the ring. The referee called for the bell.
Winners = No contest in 25:12
Anderson gave "Stun Guns" to Orton and Cena, then was joined in the ring by McMahon and company. He glared at the fans and yelled, "Bullet Club, baby! It's for reeeeaalll!"
Regal: "Oh my! That's Karl Anderson from Wild West Wrestling! What is he doing here?!"
Hayes: "Well, he's in 'The Bullet Club.' I guess Vince is pulling together anyone who professes to be in the group! Anderson is a founding father!"
Regal: "If Vince begins pooling 'Bullet Club' members from around the globe, I don't know if this is a war we can win!"
Karl Anderson grabbed a microphone from ringside.
Karl Anderson: "Hey Charlotte (NC)! Show Time is dead! Long live 'The Bullet Club!'" This company is ours! You can just call this NWA: 'Bullet Club' from now on!" Ha ha ha! The 'Machine Gun' has come to town to help out the 'boss!' I'm here as an insurance policy! It's time for 'The Bullet Club' to mobilize world wide. We're coming together for one mission--to take over the planet!"
"The Richards Collective" stormed to the ring, but they were outnumbered. They were joined by Mikael Judas and Jason Justice, but were still outnumbered. Kurt Angle and "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" came bounding out, followed by Dean Ambrose. Eventually, the sides evened and the heroes gained the upper hand. Jordan Richards was livid and got on the microphone.
Richards: "So, you're going to send in invaders from other companies now?! You think that's going to work for you?! I don't think so! Bring all the reinforcements you want to! NWA: Show Time is solidified and we are ready to go to war! We have all come together, not by philosophy, but by necessity! Don't provoke an animal you've backed into a corner, Vince McMahon! You and your family have made the mistake of a lifetime! We are in survival mode, which means that we will stop at nothing to rid the wrestling world of you! You're a cancer, and we're going to cut you out! Bring it on, grandpa!"
Regal: "Now, that's what we want to see! A show of force from the entire locker room at once! That is how you bring this colossus down! We have come together!"
Hayes: "Just in the nick of time! Because, it looks like Vince is throwing every dime he and his family have into this mission! We HAVE to stop them!"
Regal: "Fans, join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
