Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. Alongside me are renee Young and Melissa Santos! Girls, we are live and in living color tonight!"
Renee Young: "As 'Big Dust' would say, we're in puh-lick, if you will.' the crowd here in the studio is amped for a big night of women's wrestling, and so am I!"
Melissa Santos: "We're going to crown the first ever Bantamweight Tag Team Champions, and I can't wait!"
Miceli: "We will have the semi-finals and finals here tonight in Raleigh, North Cacky-lacky! The entire hour is dedicated to the Bantamweights, so let's get this party started!"
Match One ~ 2 "Candy Crush"--Kairi Hojo & Chelsea Diamond vs. 11 "The Bullet Club"--Becky Lynch & Jessie McKay with Yellow Barbie
"Candy Crush" dominated this match-up. Hojo was particularly sharp. She has been in a zone for the last several months and has been working with laser precision. She was not to be denied. Lynch and McKay focused their efforts on Diamond, who is still yet to fully recuperate from the knee injury she suffered weeks ago. They concentrated on that limb and kept the taller Chelsea grounded. Diamond finally managed to get some breathing room after an "Enziguiri" to McKay. She lunged and made the tag to Kairi, who came in like a house of fire. Hojo dropped every member of "Bullet Club" she could get her hands on, including valet Yellow Barbie. Hojo scaled the top to hit her vaunted "Flying Elbow Drop," but was distracted by the mysterious masked female who made her first appearance last week. Hojo leapt off the top rope and took out the hooded woman, with both women splatting spectacularly on the floor. The referee's attention was diverted by those events, so she missed the interference of Io Shirai, who ran out and Chloroformed Chelsea into unconsciousness. Lynch was able to make the easy cover.
Winners = "The Bullet Club" by pinfall in 10:48
Miceli: "We saw that masked female once again. This time, her efforts were thwarted by Kairi Hojo. But, why in the world would Io Shirai help out the same 'Bullet Club' that jumped her sister last week? She hasn't joined them too, I hope!"
Young: "We have to figure out what in the world is going on around here! I can't keep up!"
Santos: "Who is swerving whom this week may be completely different than who swerves whom next week!"
Miceli: "Fans, we're headed for a break. When we return, the Bantamweight Tag Team Title tournament roars on!"
Miceli: "We're back, and our Japanese correspondent Chiho Nishimori has caught up with Io Shirai. let's go to them now."
Chiho Nishimori: "I'm here with Io Shirai. Io, watashitachi wa chōdo anata ga `Kyandī Kurasshu' shōri no hiyō o mita' Buretto Kurabu'. Naze anata wa anata no imōto senshū' o kōgeki shita gurūpu ni yakudatsudarou (we just saw you cost 'Candy Crush' a victory against 'The Bullet Club.' Why would you help the group that attacked your sister last week)?"
Io Shirai: "Watashi wa, karera ga `Joshi ōjo' ga soko ni tsuku toki, watashitachiha Mio no tame ni fukushū o motsu koto ni narimasu tōnamento kesshō ni sore o tsukutta koto o kakunin suru hitsuyō ga arimashita (I had to make sure they made it to the tournament finals. When 'Joshi Princesses' get there, we will have our revenge for Mio)!"
Nishimori: "Dakara, anata wa `Kyandi Kurasshu' 'Joshi Mafia' ga Mio Shirai e no kōgeki senshū no tame ni fukushū o shutoku suru koto o kakuninshitekudasai. Soredakeni gisei ni, dono yō na `Joshi ōjo' no baai wa 'Buretto Kurabu' ni chokumen suru tōnamento kesshō ni sore o shinai nodesu ka (So, you sacrificed 'Candy Crush' to ensure that 'Joshi Mafia' gets revenge for the attack on Mio Shirai last week. But, what if 'Joshi Princesses' do not make it to the tournament finals to face 'The Bullet Club')?"
Shirai: "Karera wa, wareware wa sorera o yoku kunren sa rete iruga arimasu. `Kinbā Bakudan' ga chansu o tatte imasen (They will be there. We have trained them well. 'Kimber Bombs' do not stand a chance)!"
Nishimori: "Watashitachi wa mirudearou to omoimasu (I guess we shall see)."
Shirai: "`Joshi Mafia' sore o kakunin shimasu ('Joshi Mafia will make sure of it)!"
Nishimori: "There you have it. Madusa, back to you."
Miceli: "So, I see her angle. I guess we can expect fireworks in this next semi-final match. Let's get to it!"
Match Two ~ 5 "Kimber Bombs"--Kimber Lee & Cherry Bomb vs. 8 "Joshi Princesses"--Syuri & Tsukushi with Io Shirai
This was a hotly contested bout, although "Kimber Bombs' clearly spent the bulk of the match looking over their shoulders to defend against the threat of "Joshi Mafia" interference. Lee and Bomb have the experience edge, and it showed in this match. Lee set up for "Joshitonic" against Tsukushi, but was sent flying with a "Superkick" by Syuri. Cherry then dropped Syuri with the "Best Superkick Ever," followed by a "Cherry Popper." This allowed Lee to nail the "Alligator Clutch" on Tsukushi. As Lee went for the cover, Io Shirai dragged the referee (Nikkon Lee) out of the ring. Referee Lee berated Shirai and nearly disqualified "Joshi Princesses," only relenting in the hope of having a clean finish. As Io confidently walked around the ring, she was met with a barrage of kicks and punches by an irate Kairi Hojo, who chased Io all the way back to the dressing room. The crowd went wild at this point. Lee and Bomb attempted a double-team maneuver against Syuri, but were distracted by Lacey and Rain ("Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew"), whom they defeated last week. Referee Lee admonished the pair to leave ringside. Rain engaged Lee in an argument as lacey slipped away. She waffled Kimber with a chair and pulled Cherry out of the ring and sent her into the barricade. Lacey and Rain then left ringside as Tsukushi then hit "Denden Mushi" on Kimber for the pinfall.
Winners = "Joshi Princesses" by pinfall in 13:55
Miceli: "What an awesome match, until all the interference killed it! What was up with 'Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew' being out here this week? Are they THAT bent on seeing 'Kimber Bombs' lose?!"
Young: "That was the shock of the night so far! No one expected Lacey and Rain to be in the building!"
Santos: "We all thought that 'Joshi Mafia' as a group would make an appearance. I wonder if they had some sort of deal worked out with Rain and Lacey."
Miceli: "Regardless, our tournament championship round is set! It will be 'The Bullet Club' who begins a title domination in Femme Fatales similar to what we've seen in our brother promotion Show Time? Or, will the outsiders from NWA: HAWK take the championship back to their territory? We'll find out next. Stay with us!"
Miceli: "We are back! Before we go to the championship round, our Commissioners have a word for the crowd."
Yuzuki Aikawa: "Deputy Commissioner Kakimoto and I are very proud to host this Bantamweight Championship tournament. We will present these beautiful championship belts to the winners. Because there is the potential for our new champions to represent a separate promotion, these titles have taken on a decidedly national, if not international, flare. These championships will be featured prominently on Femme Fatales programming, on NWA: World of Wrestling, and on pay-per-view. These will be in demand titles because they are the only ones of their kind. Without further adieu, we proudly present the finals of the NWA: Femme Fatales Bantamweight Tag Team Championship tournament!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Bantamweight Tag Team Championship ~ 8 "Joshi Princesses"--Rabbit Miu & Tsukushi with Syuri vs. 11 "The Bullet Club"--Becky Lynch and Jessie McKay with Yellow Barbie
To combat the fact that they had less rest than did "The Bullet Club," "Joshi Princesses" inserted the 20-year-old Rabbit Miu to team with the 18-year-old Tsukushi. Syuri stepped out of the match. As the oldest member of the group (27 years old), it made sense for her to bow out of the tournament final to put "fresher" legs into the match. Tsukushi showed her exhaustion, but continued to plug away. Lynch and McKay were stronger by comparison after a lengthy rest. They were the aggressors in this match. Miu and Tsukushi spent most of their time backpedaling and playing defense. Tsukushi flung herself at Lynch with a "Lariat." Tsukushi inched her way to the corner for a tag to Miu. Miu came in with a "Dropkick" on Lynch and one on McKay in the corner. She hit Lynch with the "Rabbit Suplex" for two, but it was becoming apparent that she had the will to win and that the tide was turning in favor of her team. The older Lynch and McKay were fading in their second match of the night. Almost on cue, the masked woman approached ringside once again. It was obvious she planned some sort of interference, as she brought a weapon with her. This time, Syuri grabbed the woman from behind by the hair. She quickly jerked the mask off to reveal:
Though she was wearing a secondary covering, it was obvious to the world that Mio Shirai is the mysterious woman in the mask! After having been exposed, she ran to the backstage area and disappeared. The crowd and the announcers were in stunned silence. With their plans foiled, "BC" had to find another method to secure victory. They tried to double-team Miu, but she fought them off. Tsukushi joined the battle and pandemonium broke out inside the ring. Lynch caught Miu in "Dis-Arm Her," but Tsukushi made the save. McKay leveled Tsukushi with the "Boyfriend Stealer," but that was broken up by Miu. Eventually, luck caused the finish. Lynch and McKay went for a "Double Powerbomb" on Miu. As McKay got Miu into position, Tsukushi dived at Lynch. She knocked her off balance, which sent her into McKay. Jessie collapsed with Miu on top of her. As McKay attempted to kick out, Rabbit caught her feet and hooked them with both arms. She held on for dear life as the referee (Carly Rae) counted.
Winners and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Bantamweight Tag Team Champions = "Joshi Princesses" by pinfall in 14:26
Miceli: "What a match, but I'm speechless from the whole Mio Shirai deal!"
Young: "I agree. Congratulations to 'Joshi Princesses' as the new champions, but I'm still trying to catch my breath as well. Is Mio Shirai in 'The Bullet Club?'"
Santos: "If that's true, this is a major blow, not only to 'Joshi Mafia,' but to Femme Fatales as a whole. Mio Shirai is a world-class wrestler. To lose her over to the 'darkside' would be difficult to bear."
The crowd erupted, but it was clear that everyone was still in shock over the situation with Mio Shirai. Io was not out for the belt presentation, which one would have expected. The only thought was that she was with "Joshi Mafia" trying to make sense of what we all saw. That, or she was beaten up by Kairi Hojo and was not in the condition to make an appearance.
Miceli: "Fans, we're all out of time. Please join us next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli. Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
