Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me is the finest duo in all the land, Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Ladies, we're on to the quarterfinal round of the Bantamweight Tag Team tournament this week!"
Renee Young: "Yes, and we have some very interesting match-ups. There are at least a couple of rivalries that will be visited this week!"
Melissa Santos: "We have seen some phenomenal action throughout this tournament. I expect tonight's episode to provide with an even higher level of athleticism and entertainment!"
Madusa Miceli: "Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ 1 Io & Mio Shirai vs. 8 "Joshi Princesses"--Rabbit Miu & Tsukushi
"Joshi Princesses" made their way to the ring. The Shirais had not been seen yet. The camera cut away to the backstage area, where Io was checking on a fallen Mio. She was screaming, "Nani ga okotta no?! Watashi wa bun no tame ni kiete imashita (What happened?! I was only gone for a minute)!" Officials checked on Mio as Io looked on. She was joined by the rest of "Joshi Mafia" at this point. The referee had no choice but to signal for the bell and administered a ten-count. The Shirais did not answer the count, so "Joshi Princesses" won the match by forfeit.
Winners = "Joshi Princesses" by forfeit in 0:10
Miceli: "Who laid out Mio?!"
Young: "Whoever it was did a number on her, it would seem."
Santos: "She wasn't moving when we first saw her on the floor."
Miceli: "After the break, we'll keep going with the tournament."
Miceli: "We're back! Nina (Samuels), take it away!"
Match Two ~ 4 "Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew"--Lacey & Rain vs. 5 "Kimber Bombs"--Kimber Lee & Cherry Bomb
This is a heated rivalry in NWA: DFW. As luck would have it, NWA: Femme Fatales fans would be treated to a stellar installment in this feud. "MHWC" owned the bulk of the match, working Lee over and cutting the ring in half in true "Wrecking Crew" form. Kimber got close to a tag three or four times, only to be thwarted at the last second. Lacey went for a second-rope "Splash," but came up short, as Kimber rolled out of the way in the nick of time. Kimber crawled toward her corner as Lacey tagged Rain in. Rain caught Kimber's foot to prevent a tag. Lee nailed Rain with a "Mule Kick" that sent her flying. Kimber used a last-ditch effort to fling herself at Cherry and make the tag. Cherry came in on the warpath. She "Clotheslined" Lacey and rain out of their boots. She roared with rage as the crowd ate it up. All four women ended up in the ring at the same time. As they were fighting, Kimber got dumped out of the ring. She landed on her feet (unbeknownst to "MHWC") and began to scale the ropes. Lacey and Rain set up for their double team "Facebuster" on Bomb, but Lee leapt off the top with a "Missile Dropkick," which sent Rain flying into Lacey. The two butted heads. Rain fell out of the ring and Lacey dropped in her tracks with Cherry laying on top of her. The referee made the count before Rain could recover.
Winners = "Kimber Bombs" by pinfall in 9:22
Miceli: "What a match! Those girls went all out and 'Kimber Bombs' came away with the victory!"
Young: "That was a measure of revenge for 'Kimber Bombs,' who have been chasing the 'Wrecking Crew' for quite some time!"
Santos: "'Kimber Bombs' have proven that they are one of the best female tag teams in the world in this tournament!"
Miceli: "We'll be back with more after this!"
Miceli: "We're back, and we have an update on Mio Shirai. She is recovering in a private room inside our studios (WRAL). 'Joshi Mafia' was asked to allow her to rest, so they are holed up in their office until their match with 'The Bullet Club.' Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ 2 "Candy Crush"--Kairi Hojo & Chelsea Diamond vs. 23 Makoto & Sumire Natsu
This was the match of the tournament so far. The proverbial "Cinderella" is the combo of Bantamweight Champion Makoto and Natsu. They are the largest team in the tournament, and have used size to their advantage. They are also the lowest seed left standing. "Candy Crush" is arguably the best overall tag team in NWA: Femme Fatales, having won two Women's Tag Team Championships and Hojo having been a former Women's singles Champion as well. It was a war of attrition for quite a few minutes, until Makoto and Natsu took over on Diamond. They worked over her leg as Hojo desperately attempted to make a tag. She finally got in and it was "Goodnight, Irene." She landed her "Flying Elbow Drop" on Natsu for the victory. The clock finally struck midnight for "Cinderella."
Winners = "Candy Crush" by pinfall in 9:12
Miceli: "Awesome match! You won't see action like that anywhere else in the world!"
Young: "Those four ladies might be the class of the Bantamweights!"
Santos: "Phenomenal tag team wrestling, male of female! That was a pleasure to watch and call the action!"
Miceli: "We have one more match left, and we'll get to it in just a few moments! Stay with us!"
Miceli: "We're back from commercial. This last match should be a fight to the finish. There has been some bad blood brewing recently between 'The Bullet Club' and 'Joshi Mafia.' I'm sure it's going to spill out here tonight, especially after Becky Lynch tweeted that 'BC' is the group that jumped Mio Shirai!"
Match Four ~ 11 "The Bullet Club"--Becky Lynch & Jessie McKay with Yellow Barbie vs. 14 "Joshi Mafia"--Hikaru Shida & Mayu Iwatani with "The Boss" Manami Toyota
This was "Katie, bar the door" action, a true "Pier Six brawl" in every sense of the word. Shida was particularly brutal as she sought retribution on Mio Shirai's behalf. Shida and Lynch had a scintillating kick battle in center ring that got the crowd on its feet. the fight got even more wild before the end, with Toyota chasing Yellow Barbie into the crowd. The conclusion, which was very controversial, saw this mysterious figure approach the ring:
She distracted Iwatani long enough for Lynch to catch her in "Dis-Arm Her" and cinch it in tight. Mayu made it to the ropes for the break, but the mysterious female had the referee's attention diverted. McKay dragged Iwatani off the ropes, and Lynch sat back on her grip. Iwatani could not make the ropes again and was forced to tap out.
Winners = "The Bullet Club" by submission in 8:27
Miceli: "That masked woman looks awfully familiar, but I can't put her finger on exactly who she is."
Young: "I was thinking the very same thing. Who is she and what is her agenda?"
Santos: "Knowing 'The Bullet Club,' anything is possible. She clearly assisted them to victory."
Lynch and McKay looked on in a confused manner, at first. Then, they all shared a "too sweet" salute with one another and departed ringside defiantly. Shida and Toyota were furious and attended to Iwatani.
Miceli: "That was highway robbery, and we're usually saying that when 'Joshi Mafia' perpetrates it! This time, they were the victims."
Young: "We have to find out who that masked woman was! She apparently is the newest member of 'The Bullet Club,' but we have not heard of any new signings in the company."
Santos: "Is she someone on the roster? Is she an outsider? So many questions are yet to be answered!"
Miceli: "We hope to get to the bottom of this before next week's episode. Fans, stay tuned four the tournament semi-finals next week! Join us on TNT every Thursday for Femme Fatales, the very best in women's wrestling! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli. Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
