William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes in pro wrestling, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Riding shotgun alongside me is my co-host, Renee Young! Renee, there have been a multitude of changes afoot!"
Renee Young: "That's right, William. As everyone now knows, the NWA Board of Governors voted, in a controversial split decision, to cut the wrestling rosters to 60 talents for each of the NWA member promotions. Jordan Richards fought to maintain the current rosters as they are, but he was in the minority. NWA: Show Time has lost quite a bit of talent in the last twenty-four hours."
Regal: "It's a sad day here in Charlotte, as we've bid farewell to many of our friends and co-workers. Unfortunately, they won't be afforded the opportunity to appear on our programming again."
Young: "You said it. So many people have left us and they didn't have the chance to say their goodbyes."
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva blared over the PA system to bring out the entire "Richards Collective," including Eve Torres and Maria Kanellis.
Jordan Richards: "I couldn't help but overhear William Regal and Renee Young talking about the roster limits that have been imposed on every territory as of Monday." (a chorus of boos)
Richards: "In this instance, I agree with those boos. Believe me, I fought hard to keep my talent. I've built an empire and I hated to see well over half my acquisitions walk out the door. I'm upset. You can believe that! But, I'll tell you this. NWA: Show Time will rise out of the ashes of its own supposed demise. We are the number one promotion in the world and we'll continue to be that each and every day! Now, what was really decimated was my ladies division. I had over one hundred fifty of the greatest female wrestlers on the planet signed to contracts. I was not going to dump one hundred-plus of them. So, the following decision was made yesterday and I've executed it as of today. From this moment forward, there is no ladies division in NWA: Show Time." (a huge chorus of boos)
Richards: "I know. I know. But, listen to me. I didn't say the women's division is dead. I said it no longer exists as a part of NWA: Show Time. Here's the big announcement. I have bought a second promoting license and have opened my second NWA member promotion, which will be known as NWA: Femme Fatales. Nothing will change except for the fact that the greatest women's division in the world is now its own territory! Everything else stays the same. The championships are the same. The television product is the same. The roster, though I had to cut ninety women off of it, is still the best there is. Femme Fatales will air on TNT this Thursday just like it always has. Now, onto other business. Tonight, the program will center around two matches. One will be the Television Championship match I signed last week. As I mandated, this will be a 'Lumberjack' match. But, I have handpicked the lumberjacks myself. At ringside tonight will be my entire 'Collective,' along with Kurt Angle, Dean Ambrose, and Mikael Judas. Together, they will ensure that those rogue punks in 'The Bullet Club' don't steal another one of my titles. Speaking of 'The Bullet Club,' you're probably wondering why I didn't go ahead and terminate them when I had the chance. Well, there are two reasons for that. Number one, they hold several of my championships and my guys want the satisfaction of taking them back in the ring. Number two, my guys also want the satisfaction of beating those punks into submission. So, I'm keeping them around. I fully expect Jason Justice to take care of business. Now, onto match number two for tonight. The reigning Heavyweight Champion, Adam Cole, will take on the reigning NWA: Wild West Champion--if that title still exists--in Cibernetico. We have a big bone to pick with 'Los Hell Brothers' at Uncensored, and Adam is going to show that chump what a real champion looks like! So, without further adieu, let's get this show on the road!"
Regal: "Well, 'The Richards Collective' is still at ringside. I see Angle, Judas, and Ambrose. They are being followed to ringside by the NWA: Show Time Television Champion Jason Justice. So, I guess it's time for the first match-up of the evening!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Lumberjack" match ~ "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice vs. Idol Stevens
Justice was a man possessed in this match. He tore into Stevens like a madman, which has always been his calling card. Stevens held his own and used as much assistance from his 'Bullet Club' brethren as he could take. The lumberjacks maintained order as long as they could before both sides began to brawl outside the ring. Even the ladies got involved in the action. It looked as if Stevens might steal one. Kevin Steen tried to assist in a double team, but Justice moved and he nailed Stevens with a "Super Kick." Justice "Clotheslined" Steen over the top rope. Idol walked into a "Psycho Slam" for the pin.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Jason Justice by pinfall in 19:27
Regal: "What a match and what a fight going on outside the ring! Justice was served. Pun intended!"
Young: "Jason Justice and his allies held off 'The Bullet Club' and kept the TV Title. Great match!"
Regal: "Fans, when we return, we'll have the big champion vs. champion match!"
Regal: "We're back and it's main event time! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ Champion vs. Champion (non-title) ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Cibernetico with Sexy Star
Cole and Cibernetico put on a veritable clinic inside the ring, while Sexy Star stalked Maria outside the ring. Cibernetico hit his vaunted "Chokeslam," but Cole kicked out at two. Cole landed the "Florida Key" for a near fall. This match went back and forth, with both combatants nailing signature maneuvers. Cole locked in the "Figure-Four Leglock" and had Cibernetico in trouble, but he made it to the ropes without submitting. The referee was knocked for a loop when all three men were crunched into the corner. Cole hit the "Over the Knee Neckbreaker" and covered. The referee was incapacitated and could not count. Sexy Star came off the top rope with "Knee Drop" onto the back of Cole's head. Maria chased Sexy down the aisle as Cibernetico dragged himself on top of Cole as the referee awoke. The three-count was rendered, but Cole kicked out at 2.9. The crowd erupted. Cibernetico was incensed and laid the boots to the referee. A second referee ran to ringside and called for the bell.
Winner = Adam Cole by disqualification in 33:46
Cibernetico continued his assault on Cole and was joined by the rest of his cronies. "The Richards Collective" rushed the ring for the save. Cibernetico and his group fled ringside, but laughed down the aisle. Austin Aries could be heard exclaiming, "We own you!"
Regal: "'Los Hell Brothers' may have gotten the last laugh this week, but they will get their comeuppance in the 'War Games' match!"
Young: "Oh yes! It's time for retribution and payback's a mother!"
Regal: "Fans, that's all the time we have for today. Please join us this Thursday on TNT for Femme Fatales, and its debut as a promotion! We'll be back here next Tuesday on TNT for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
