William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the most beautiful co-host I've ever worked with, Renee Young! Renee, we saw a huge 14-man main event last week that assured us your man Dean Ambrose would receive an NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship rematch against Adam Cole. Well, Christmas has come early, my dear! That match will be on the program today. Also on today's episode, The Rock will defend the Television Championship against Jason Justice in a match signed by Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts."
Renee Young: "This episode has a 'big money' feel to it, William! It's going to be a historic night just three days from Christmas! I can't wait to kick it off!"
Regal: "Well, wait no longer. Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ "Los Ingobernables"--Tetsuya Naito & "King of Darkness" EVIL vs. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
This match never had a chance to grow its legs. After a couple of minutes of Benjamin and Haas getting the best of "Los Ingobernables," "Axis of Evil" stormed the ring and began to beat down "WGTT."
Winners = "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" by disqualification in 2:18
As "Los Ingobernables" left ringside in a huff, "Axis" continued to lay the boots to "WGTT" until Kurt Angle made the save with a steel chair. He then grabbed a microphone.
Kurt Angle: "It's always four on one, four on two, four on three with you guys! I'm sick of it! We challenge you to an 8-man next week. That is, if you guys are man enough to accept it! Oh, and don't worry. We'll have a partner. You'll find out who it is then. But, just remember, blood is thicker than water. It's true. It's true."
Regal: "That last sentiment by Kurt Angle was a bit cryptic. Blood is thinker than water."
Young: "Yes it was. Typically, that statement refers to family. Hmm. I wonder what he has up his sleeve for next week."
Regal: "We'll take a break and be back for more!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back, and it's now time for the Television Championship match."
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva hit to bring out Jordan Richards, Eve Torres, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, "The Varsity Boys," and "The Kingdom."
Jordan Richards: "So, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts thinks that he is scaring us by putting the 'Ticking Time Bomb' in the ring with The Rock. This man has main evented 'WrestleMania' and has beaten everyone there is to beat. Do you really think he has a second thought about an unstable has been like Jason Justice? Educate the people, Rock."
The Rock: "The NWA: Show Time Television Champion, the 'People's Champion,' the jabroni-beating, pie eating, most electrifying man in the world, The Rock, says, Jason Justice needs to know his role and shut his mouth! The Rock never even heard of Jason Justice before he came here! Jason Justice isn't a blip on The Rock's radar. Jason Justice is about to go one on one with the 'Great One.' Jason Justice will never be heard from again when The Rock is through with him!"
Richards: "That's all that needs to be said about that. Now, Adam Cole is being forced back into the ring with that lunatic Dean Ambrose, and it's your fault!" (Richards points at Michael Bennett, who took the pinfall in last week's main event) "You and your partner (Matt Taven) had 'Sons of Steel' right where you wanted them and you dropped the ball! Brock, Rock, John, Randy, Adam, they all did their parts and cleared the ring for you. This should have been a slam dunk! Instead, you let us all down! Well, you have one chance to redeem yourselves. It happens today. You will defend the tag titles against the men you beat to win them in the first place--'Killer Elite Squad'--right now! If you take care of business like you should, all will be forgiven. If not, there will be serious repercussions! Now, we're going to get out of the ring and let you show us how it's done!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Kingdom"--Michael Bennett & Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis vs. "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt
"The Kingdom" was so taken aback by Jordan Richards' announcement, they were unprepared for the match. "KES" stormed the ring and attacked before the referee could ring the bell. They obliterated Bennett and Taven and nearly had the match won in the first two minutes. "The Kingdom" settled and took control briefly, but never truly had the upper hand. "KES" hit the "Killer Bomb" on Taven and took. the win.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "Killer Elite Squad" by pinfall in 7:28
Jordan Richards was livid. He angrily grabbed a microphone.
Richards: "You had one job to do! You just had to beat a team you've already beaten before! How hard is that?! I'm sick of it! Every time we are in a main event scenario, it seems one of you to either cost us the match or almost cost us! That ends today! You are hereby done as a part of the 'Richards Collective!' Besides, Cena and Orton are ten times the team you are, so we don't need you anymore! Boys, show them how we take out the trash!"
Brock Lesnar, The Rock, John Cena, and Randy Orton each hit their finishers on Bennett and Taven. Adam Cole and Maria Kanellis stood by and watched the brutality helplessly. Then, they stepped in and stopped the carnage. Just as it seemed they would have compassion on their "Kingdom" brethren, Kanellis gave a "low blow" to Bennett and Cole dropped Taven with the "Florida Key." They all left Bennett and Taven laying in the ring and made their exit.
Regal: "What a turn of events! Michael Bennett and Matt Taven not only lost the Tag Team Championship, they were unceremoniously dumped from the 'Richards Collective.' We're seeing the first chinks in the armor it seems."
Young: "Precisely what I was thinking. Trouble in paradise?"
Regal: "Fans, 'So Cal' Val is standing by with 'Aces High.' Valerie?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I have managed to catch up with the members of the 'Aces High' gang. Guys, what's your agenda here in NWA: Show Time?"
Bully Ray: "First of Val, do you know who I am?"
Wyndham: "Yes. You're Bully Ray?"
Ray: "Very good, Val. But, I must correct you on one point. We're actually more of a club than a gang. That being said, we don't operate on agendas, plans, or schemes. We simply beat up anyone who stands in our path."
Wyndham: "Is that what happened to 'Bloodbound Warriors?'"
D-Von: "That's exactly what happened to those punks. We are no respecters of people when it comes to beating them up. Anyone is eligible."
Wyndham: "Will there be any more additions to your club?"
Knox: "Anyone can apply, but only the toughest are chosen."
Wyndham: "And, how is that decision reached?"
Ray: "We beat them up. Whoever survives it and comes back for more is in, plain and simple."
Wyndham: "I haven't heard from Black Widow, the only female member of 'Aces High.' Black Widow, do you have anything to say?"
Black Widow: "You'll hear from me when you need to hear from me. The Black Widow does not give warning before it strikes. It injects its venom as it sees fit. I do my talking in the ring. That is where I'll have something to say."
Wyndham: "We did see you impressively give Grey Wolf the 'Widow's Peak' a couple of weeks ago."
Widow: "That was impressive to you? Why? Because I am a woman? Listen Val, I'm not some little 'dolled up' diva running around here. If you want to be impressive by the 'Widow's Peak,' be impressed because it's the most devastating move in wrestling."
Ray: "Val, we're done. Guys, let's get back to the clubhouse."
Regal: "I'm impressed by everyone in 'Aces High,' but most intimidating one is Black Widow!"
Young: "She has been one of the most imposing women in the sport for well over a decade."
Regal: "When we come back, we'll be back with the Television Championship match!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! Let's go to Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions to our next contest."
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ The Rock with Maria Kanellis vs. "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice
Justice controlled the early minutes of the match with power offense, which is his calling card. The Rock settled in and took over the trajectory of the bout. He wore Justice down with his hard-hitting, 'electrifying' move set. Nearly ten minutes in, The Rock nailed the "Rock Bottom" and set up for the "People's Elbow." Michael Bennett and Matt Taven appeared at ringside and began to berate Maria Kanellis. This distracted The Rock, who shouted at his former stable mates. Taven hopped up on the apron and began jawing with The Rock. The respite gave Justice enough time to recoup. He readied himself. When The Rock turned around, he walked right into a thunderous "Psycho Slam" for the pin.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Jason Justice in 10:35
As Justice celebrated his title victory, the "Richards Collective" ran down to ringside to assault Bennett and Taven. They escaped through the crowd as Jordan Richards pitched a fit inside the ring.
Regal: "Jordan Richard stranglehold on the NWA: Show Time championship scene has lost its grip!"
Young: That's two titles down, one to go!"
Regal: "Speaking of one more title, 'So Cal' Val is standing by with Dean Ambrose, who will challenge for the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship next."
Wyndham: "I'm here with Dean Ambrose. Dean, you will receive your championship rematch in a few minutes. What are your thoughts heading into the big match?"
Dean Ambrose: "You know, Valerie, this time of year, the little kiddies have thoughts of candy canes, visions of sugar plums, and daydreams of toys. The only thing on my wish list this Christmas is a big gold belt to keep my waist nice and warm."
Wyndham: "Do you have a strategy to fend off the inevitable presence of the 'Richards Collective?'"
Ambrose: "It would appear that the presence is at least two people lighter than before. Regardless, don't you worry your pretty little head about that, Valerie. I have a little surprise for Jordan Richards and his toadies. You'll see."
Wyndham: "Good luck, Dean!"
Ambrose: "Thanks, but I don't need luck. I just need three seconds."
Regal: "The main event is next!"
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Dean Ambrose
Before the bell rang, the original "nWo" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts to a nice ovation.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! This is a huge match about to go down. I want to make sure Deano gets a fair shake. So, Jake and I will stay out at ringside for the entirety of the title match. Also, if Adam Cole has any interference from his camp, he will immediately be disqualified. I'm waiving the normal disqualification rule as well. So, if Cole gets DQ'ed, he will lose the title!"
Jordan Richards was fit to be tied, and lambasted Hall and Roberts off camera as the match began. Ambrose was a house of fire early. Cole took control and began working on Ambrose's right leg, presumably as a set-up for the "Figure-four Leglock," which he uses regularly. Cole managed to slap on the "Figure-four," but Ambrose made the ropes after a couple of minutes of agony. Cole refused to break at first, but remembered the waiving of the DQ rule and broke at a 4.75 count. The damage was done, however. Ambrose hobbled the rest of the contest. He hit "Dirty Deeds" to thunderous applause, but had to drag himself over for the cover. Cole got a foot on the ropes just before the three-count. Ambrose was beside himself. He set up for another "Dirty Deeds," but was too close to the ropes. Cole held on as Ambrose snapped back, striking his head on the canvas. Cole rolled him up. As the count began, Cole put his foot against the ropes for leverage, which was out of the referee's view. Ambrose tried to kick out, but Cole's feet pressing against the ropes wedged him in place.
Winner and still NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion ~ Adam Cole by pinfall in 15:46
Cole slid out and grabbed the belt as Commissioners Hall and Roberts petitioned the referee, who stated that he did not see Cole's foot on the rope. Richards was heard exclaiming, "The referee's decision is final!," as he, Cole, and Kanellis celebrated to the back.
Regal: "Well, Adam Cole stole one, keeping at least one championship intact in the 'Richards Collective.'"
Young: "Stole it is right! Dean was robbed!"
Regal: "Well, we have seen at least an erosion of the mighty fortress Jordan Richards has built in the promotion he founded. I'm sure next week's episode will be explosive. Please join us here on TBS Tuesday for another edition of the Show Time Power Hour! This Thursday, Show Time Femme Fatales will air a special Christmas Eve episode on TNT! Don't miss it! For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, Merry Christmas and ta ta for now!"
