The episode opened with a "Starrcade 2K15" highlight package, including the triumphant Brock Lesnar winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my lovely co-host, Renee Young. Renee, we are coming off the biggest event in pro wrestling history, 'Starrcade 2K15.' NWA: Show Time had a big night! Our very own Brock Lesnar became the NWA World Heavyweight Champion! So much has gone on in recent days as well. Xavier Woods has become the NWA North American Cruiserweight Champion, winning a multi-promotional match on November 28. It's a grand time to be a part of our company!"
Renee Young: "Yes it is, William! We made history with the first ever 'Suicide Skywalkers' match at 'Starrcade,' won by Mikael Judas. Aoi Kizuki became the second Batamweight Champion, surviving six other ladies on her way to that win. It was just a fantastic event to be a part of. Jordan Richards has promised a huge celebration here today. I'm interested to see what he has planned for us."
Regal: "As am I, sunshine! But, first let's go to the ring where the new NWA North American Cruiserweight Champion is standing by."
Xavier Woods was standing center ring, flanked by the entire "House of Truth." Truth Martini had a microphone.
Truth Martini: "You see, when there is greatness in someone or something, that greatness cannot help but ooze out. Well, greatness is coming out of the 'HoT.' Standing before you is the brand new NWA North American Cruiserweight Champion Xavier Woods. This man is just like every other member of 'HoT:' destined for greatness. Soon, every member of this group will be swimming in gold. You'll see."
Xavier Woods: "That's right! We are all great! I am but the first piece of the championship puzzle. Everyone around me will soon be draped in championship gold as well. Now, I'm about to prove why I am the NWA North American Cruiserweight Champion! I challenge anyone in the back to come out and face me!"
Suddenly, Kurt Angle's "Olympic Hero" music began to play. The place went bananas as Angle made his first appearance in NWA: Show Time since signing last week. The "HoT" were going ballistic. Xavier Woods' eyes were as big as saucers.
Woods: "On second thought, it's selfish of me to hog the spotlight for myself. Madden, you're in!"
Match One ~ "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden) vs. "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
"Born Winner" Mike Madden stepped in very cautiously. Angle made quick work of him, as no one expected Angle to be the man who emerged from the entrance. Madden could never get on track, as Angle eventually dropped him with an "Angle Slam" straight into the "Ankle Lock." Mike had no choice but to tap out.
Winner = Kurt Angle by submission in 4:58
As Angle was celebrating, he was attacked by Miroslav Barnyashev, who also recently signed with the company. He stomped on Angle and put him into "The Accolade." "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" made the save to a big ovation. They gave Barnyashev some hard shots on his way to the floor. As Benjamin and Haas helped Angle to his feet, Barnyashev and his manager Lana were screaming in Bulgarian. Angle grabbed a microphone as he attempted to recover.
Kurt Angle: "So, you're the 'Bulgarian' Basher,' out here to spoil my debut, huh? Well, you didn't get the job done! The 'Olympic Hero' is still standing tall. As you can see, I'm back together with my best friends. I'll tell you what, punk! Why don't you go back to wherever you came from and find a couple of friends to join you here next week. We'll take you on a in a six-man tag! You need a taste of good old American justice! Oh, it's true! It's true!"
Barnyashev continued to yell incoherently as he and Lana left ringside.
Regal: "Oh my! That is how you begin a television program!"
Young: "Wow! Two debuts right at the top of the hour! And, a six-man tag next week to boot! What's next?!"
Regal: "We'll take a break, then come back to the ring."
Regal: "Fans, we're back, but the ring has been taken hostage by Eve Torres."
Eve Torres: "I was robbed at 'Starrcade!' Aoi Kizuki got bounced around like a ragdoll. I had her beaten in the middle of the ring. She pulled my tights to get the win! I deserve the Bantamweight Championship! I have demanded a match with her this Thursday on the Show Time Femme Fatales double episode special!"
Torres threw the microphone down and stormed out of the ring.
Young: "Whoa! I've never seen Eve Torres so angry!"
Regal: "Indeed. Now, fans, let's go to the ring."
Match Two ~ "Cosmic Brotherhood"--Goldust & Stardust vs. "The Realest Guys in the Room"--Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady with Carmella
"TRGR" came out performing their standard shtick on the microphone ("Bada bing, bada boom, the realest guys in the room," "everyone else is s-a-w-f-t, saaawwwft," etc.). They are very popular with live crowds. The "Brotherhood" was not intimidated, as they have seen it all. This was a great back-and-forth match. Goldust looked really good. Cassady is impressive and athletic for a big man. Amore and Stardust took most of the lumps for their teams, but they had their moments in the sun as well. In the end, Carmella provided a distraction by dancing on the apron. Stardust became mesmerized and was caught from behind with a "Superkick" from Amore. This led directly to the "Rocket Launcher" finish for the pin.
Winners = "The Realest Guys in the Room" by pinfall in 8:19
Regal: "'NeXT Gen' is an impressive young group. I look for big things from them."
Young: "Yes they are! I understand we have 'So Cal' Val standing by with a special guest."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Maria Kanellis, who says she has something to say. Maria?"
Maria Kanellis: "On behalf of Jordan Richards, I wish to invite the entire roster of NWA: Show Time to the celebration for Brock Lesnar. He will be officially presented with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, which has been polished and re-leathered. There will also be a coronation, of sorts, as Brock will ascend his throne of triumph."
Wyndham: "Jordan Richards is inviting the entire roster?"
Kanellis: "Yes, it's more of a strong suggestion. he expects everyone to be at ringside for the celebration. Anyone who chooses not to participate is committing career suicide..."
Wyndham: "Well then, I guess you know where I'll be later on. William, back to you."
Regal: "I should say so. Career suicide?"
Young: "Talk about subtlety...geez!"
Just then, Jordan Richards appeared over the big screen.
"Jordan Richards: "I told you so. I told you that Brock Lesnar was the most fearsome wrestler on the planet. I told you that he would dismantle CM Punk, and I told you that he would win the World Championship. In just a few minutes, you will see his crowning achievement on display in front of the world. But, first, I have mandated a special match between a couple of guys who are not happy to see him as champion. I saw them tweeting their displeasure. Well, no bad deed goes unpunished around here. They're good buddies, but they're about to be opponents. I want Kevin Steen and Dean Ambrose out in the ring right now, or they're both fired!"
Regal: "I guess we have ourselves a main event. Scarlett, take it away."
Match Three ~ Kevin Steen vs. Dean Ambrose
The friends were reluctant to face off with one another, but eventually locked up. They kept it scientific throughout the contest. Each man had flashes of brilliance. Ambrose hit "Dirty Deeds," but Steen was too close to the ropes and got his foot on them just in the nick of time. Steen came back and hit the "Package Piledriver." As he went for the cover, "The Kingdom" hit the ring for the beat down on both men.
Winner = no contest in 9:29
"The Varsity Boys" and The Rock joined the mugging. They held Steen and Ambrose in prone positions as "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out Jordan Richards, in a tuxedo, along with Eve Torres, Stacy Keibler, and Maria Kanellis, all in floor-length evening gowns. Richards then commanded the locker rooms to empty, which they did, as the entire roster of NWA: Show Time flooded the arena around ringside. A giant throne had been set up in center ring by Security. Brock Lesnar's "Here Comes the Pain" theme hit and he sauntered out with a huge grin on his face. He entered the ring and had a long satin king's cape draped onto his massive shoulders by Keibler and Torres. Kanellis placed a crown upon his head. Richards took a microphone.
Richards: "This is what a World Champion should look like. He should be regal, yet feared and awed at the same time. Brock Lesnar is not only 'The Beast.' He is now what he always deserved to be--the champion! Long live Brock Lesnar! Now, let me also introduce my new business partner, NWA: Wild West owner "Nature Boy" Ric Flair!"
Flair came to the ring with a large platinum case. He opened the case and presented the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, which was luminous in its newly-polished and leathered state and resting in the case's beautiful silk-lining.
Confetti and balloons showered down from above as Steen and Ambrose were forced to bow at Lesnar's feet, then were unceremoniously dumped out of the ring. As the episode went off the air, Brock stood in center ring with the championship belt held high. Richards forced the entire roster to clap as the scene faded to black.
