William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my lovely and talented co-host, Renee Young. Renee, we have a huge line-up today. Tell the fans what we have on tap."
Renee Young: "William, we have an interview with Tetsuya Naito concerning the recent attack by the 'Cosmic Brotherhood.' We will see the Show Time Tag Team Champions 'The Kingdom' in action against the 'All Night Xpress.' NWA World Champion CM Punk is in the house o answer the challenge of Brock Lesnar for 'Starrcade.' If that wasn't enough, CEO Jordan Richards has promised that we will meet the multi-time World Champion 'Varsity Boys,' so far only identified as 'John' and 'Randy.' I have my theories, as does rest of the world, but their identities will be confirmed today."
Regal: "That, my dear, is the million-dollar question. As you said, we will see. Let's go to the ring for the televised debut of Cody Hall in the 'House of Truth.' Scarlett..."
Match One ~ Cody Hall with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden) vs. Ryusuke Taguchi
Hall dominated the match with a side of aggression that has not been seen in his young career. He choked Taguchi on the ropes, then turned the referee away so that Martini could do the same. Even the "Hoopla Hotties" snuck in a couple of eye gouges on the fallen Taguchi. He was outnumbered four-to-one, which gave him no chance at victory. He managed a couple of offensive flurries with his "Funky Weapon" hip attacks, but nothing solidified. Hall finished him off with the "Razor's Edge."
Winner = Cody Hall by pinfall in 6:38
Truth Martini grabbed a microphone during the celebration.
Truth Martini: "The 'HoT' has enlightened young Cody Hall. He now sees clearly, and it shows with each match. He dismantled an internationally known star. Scott Hall, your son will soon surpass your career by leaps and bounds. Everything you taught him about pro wrestling is nothing compared to the invaluable lessons he receives now. As bad an influence as you were to Cody all these years, you will be haunted by the notion that he will thrive with Truth Martini as his new father."
The original "nWo" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts to thunderous applause.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! I heard a little mighty mouthed punk out here running his pie hole. Hey Jake, when did we start giving the ring rats a microphone? Truth Martini, I don't know what kind of garbage you've been feeding my son, but you will pay for twisting his mind. Now, Cody, you still have a chance to see the error in your ways and snap out of whatever spell that scum has you under. I forgive you for attacking me a couple of weeks ago. I get it. You're bitter. I can deal with that. But, let's talk it out like grown men. Don't make a mistake you'll regret for the rest of your life."
Cody Hall: "Hey Scott! Listen up! I'm my own man now. You can't tell me what to do. You can't talk any 'sense' into me! I've seen the light from Truth Martini. The only talking I'll do to you is in the ring, 'dad!'"
Scott Hall: "I was afraid you'd say something like that. Well, I have an old friend who wants to show you some 'tough love.' He's known you since you were born. So, he wants to take it upon himself to give you a well-deserved spanking, son. I've always thought of myself as a big man. This guy makes me look like a medium-sized man."
The sound of a tractor trailer horn blared over the PA system and out walked "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash to a thunderous ovation.
Kevin Nash: "Hey Cody, remember me? I'm the seven-foot guy your dad used to tag with. Here's the bottom line, young fella. If you have beef with pops, it's cool. But, squash the beef like grown adults. talk it out, man to man. Don't kick your dad's head off when he's in the match of his life against brock freakin' Lesnar! With that being said, I'm stepping in to enforce a little discipline. Your dad has promised not to lay a hand on you. Guess what? I'm not your dad. So, next week, right here on the Power Hour, I'm gonna teach you a lesson in the respect!"
Regal: "Oh my! Kevin Nash just showed up and it looks like he and Cody Hall will have a match here next week!"
Young: "Kevin Nash ids such a large guy. You have to see him in person to appreciate his size. Cody Hall is in for a long night and he has a week to think about it."
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, 'So Cal' Val interviewed Tetsuya Naito earlier today. We were surprised to hear what he had to say. Let's take you to that very candid interview."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Tetsuya Naito. Tetsuya, you've had a lot of success here in NWA: Show Time. You've also had a lot of heartache. You were attacked by 'Meiyu Tag' when they debuted, which led to a lengthy feud. Just last week, you were attacked by the debuting 'Cosmic Brotherhood.' What are your thoughts on this?"
Tetsuya Naito (through an interpreter): "You know what I think about all that? It's crap! I have been the 'nice guy' for years and where has it gotten me?! I get attacked by people who have no issue with me. They see me as vulnerable, so they jump me from behind and beat me up! I'm sick of it!"
Wyndham: "Wow! I can certainly understand your bitterness toward all of this, but you have always been known as a popular guy in the locker room and with the fans. But, it seems like your attitude may be changing."
Naito: "You say I am bitter. No! It's not bitterness. I see clearly for the first time in many years. Being the 'nice guy' profits me nothing. I'm done being nice. In fact, I have an announcement to make. I am joining 'Los Ingobernables' with Rush, Marco Corleone, and a new friend of mine who will be here next week. Now, I will have some real friends who will watch my back. We are going to beat people up now! Trust me when I tell you that 'Los Ingobernables' will be taken seriously. Some things are about to change!"
Wyndham: "Did I hear that correctly? You're joining the 'Los Ingobernables' stable of Rush, Marco Corleone, and Volador, Jr.?"
Naito: "I never said anything about Volador, Jr. That piece of garbage has been kicked out of the group! He went crawling back to Myzteziz like a baby! And, guess what else?! La Sombra and La Mascara have joined us too!"
Wyndham: "What?! What are you talking about?!"
Naito pulled out an iPad and showed Wyndham a video of 'Los Ingobernables' (including himself) jumping Volador, Jr., in Mexico this past Monday at a CMLL anniversary event (several Show Time stars were on loan). Myzteziz came to Volador's aid, then was unceremoniously attacked by La Sombra and La Mascara, who shook hands with 'Los Ingobernables' and joined them on the spot.
Wyndham: "I can't believe what I am seeing here! Well, it certainly looks like things have changed very rapidly in the life of Tetsuya Naito."
Naito: "Change is inevitable. In my case, this change is for the best. 'Los Ingoberbales' will not be overlooked. We will take over. Next week, 'Cosmic Brotherhood' will feel the wrath!"
Regal: "What a bizarre turn of events in the life Tetsuya Naito!"
Young: "To hear that he joined 'Los Ingobernables' and that 'Super Luchas' has been dismantled is a huge shock to all of us. Naito also says that he will introduce another 'Los Ingobernables' member next week. I'm very interested to see what he has up his sleeve."
Regal: "Fans, let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ No Disqualification ~ "War Machine"--Hansen & "Godzilla" Jax dane vs. "Bloodbound Warriors"--Grey Wolf & Red Scorpion
This match was an all-out war. It resembled a "Falls Count Anywhere" match, especially considering that most of the action took place outside the ring. If something was not bolted to the floor, the competitors used it as a weapon. Dane and Wolf were bloodied. Hansen's left arm looked as if it had a severe case of "road rash." Red Scorpion had his right knee decimated by the ringside steps, which gave "War Machine" the opportunity to single out Wolf. They finished him with "Fallout" through a table.
Winners = "War Machine" by pinfall in 10:11
Regal: "This place resembles a crash site after that match."
Young: "It looks like a ten-car pile-up out here!"
Regal: "Fans, our woman 'in the know,' Laura Cruz is at it again."
Laura Cruz: "Hello everyone! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with all the latest news from the world of NWA: Show Time. As you saw last week, the 'Varsity Boys' were quote-unquote 'introduced' to the world. Today, we will definitely see them. I caught a glimpse of them slipping into Jordan Richards' office. Sufficed to say, these are two huge names. I won't spoil it. There have been plenty of shake-ups within the ladies division. A couple of groups have splintered, with at least one brand new stable forming. Thursday's Show Time Femme Fatales will give clarity to the situation this Thursday on TNT. As we get closer to 'Starrcade 2K15,' I have found out that the NWA is once again making history with the largest one-day supercard ever. As there are two locations for the big event, there will be two full 8-match cards. One will be a matinee event, with the other concluding in the evening. Every NWA championship will be contested, as well as the territory-specific matches that will take place. It promises to be a monumental event that will set the all-time attendance record. That's all the time I have for today. I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "Thank you, Laura. After the break, we'll have our main event!"
Match Three ~ Non-Title ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions "The Kingdom"--Michael Bennett & Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis vs. "All Night Xpress"--Rhett Titus & Kenny King
This was a fun back-and-forth match that saw many highspots sandwiched in between solid mat wrestling. As she usually does, Maria Kanellis became a factor in this one. Her distraction of the referee directly led to the finish. "ANX" had the pinfall, but the distraction kept the referee from counting the fall. Bennett used the opportunity to nail Titus and King with one of the championship belts. A "Hail Mary" later, and the win was academic.
Winners = "The Kingdom" by pinfall in 13:29
Jordan Richards took a microphone.
Jordan Richards: "That was quality wrestling with quality athletes and a quality finish. My guys are the best in the entire world! And, now, I'm about to add to our ranks. We already have Brock Lesnar, a multi-time World Champion. We have The Rock, a multi-time World Champion. We have Adam Cole, a former World Champion. We have Bennett and Taven, former World Tag Team Champions. Now, we are about to add the two most prolific World Champions not named Ric Flair. I now present, to the world, the 'Varsity Boys!'"
A mash-up of "My Time is Now" and "I Hear Voices" plays as John Cena and Randy Orton make their way to ringside to a monumental reaction.
John Cena: "We are the biggest superstars of the last fifteen years and we belong in the number one organization in the world! Our time is now! The champs are here!"
Randy Orton: "When you put John and I with Brock, The Rock, 'The Kingdom,' with Jordan Richards calling the shots for Show Time and the NWA, how can it possibly get any bigger than that?! We're a pit of vipers, ready to strike!"
Jordan Richards: "You see, I'm a collector of fine things. Whether that be expensive clothes, cars, houses, or the like, nothing but the best will do for me. Now, I have amassed the greatest collection of talent anyone has seen. I have the top stars of the 'Attitude Era' in The Rock and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, who also works for me. I have the biggest stars of this generation in Cena and Orton. I have the best group of young talent in the world. And, finally, I have the most dominant physical specimen in pro wrestling history--the man who will be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion after 'turkey day' is all said and done. We own NWA: Show Time. We're about to own the world."
"Cult of Personality" hit to bring out NWA World Champion CM Punk.
CM Punk: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! I heard that Brock Lesnar challenged me to a World Title match at 'Starrcade' and that Jordan Richards signed it. Did anyone plan on consulting me about that? Don't I get a say in this? Now, I know the NWA wants to put 160,000 butts in seats. That would be a huge main event, no doubt. But, does it make sense? Of course not. Brock, I have paid you quite handsomely for months to be my insurance policy. Why would you upset the balance of our relationship? Surely, something can be worked out, my friend. If it's more money you need to back out of this little match, I can accommodate this with ease. C'mon, now! Let's be rational about this."
Richards: "Who are you calling friend?! We were never friends with you. We were business associates, at best. In fact, I find you to be a sniveling, whiney, overrated chump, who blames everything in life on someone else and treats those around him like their beneath him. Don't patronize Brock Lesnar. You're lucky I don't turn him loose on you right now. You do realize that you're woefully outnumbered, don't you. If you want to make it out this arena alive, I suggest you shut up and listen. You might learn something. Do we want the NWA World Championship? Absolutely. Do I specifically want to see it around Brock Lesnar's waist? No doubt about it. However, I feel the need to make you aware of a little tidbit you don't yet know. You see, Brock and I are not acting alone in this venture. A mutual acquaintance has gone into business with us, and he outbid you. So, you see, there are multiple parties at play who want to see you lose that championship. On Thanksgiving night, you WILL go one-on-one with 'The Beast!'
CM Punk: "A 'mutual acquaintance?' What is that supposed to mean?! You're telling me that someone we both know has bought Brock Lesnar away from me?! What the heck is going on here?! You haven't heard the end of this! My lawyer will file an injunction! This match WILL NOT happen!"
Richards: "Go right ahead, slick. I promise that the NWA's team of attorneys will ensure this main event will happen as planned. C'mon guys. These people have seen all they need to see of us for one night."
Regal: "What a confrontation! CM Punk has been outbid by a mysterious source who wants to see him lose the NWA Championship. That could be anyone!"
Young: "Exactly. Punk has done himself no favors by making enemy after enemy. So, it sounds like the Punk-Lesnar main event for 'Starrcade 2K15' is set in stone. I can't wait!"
Regal: "Fans, we're out of time. For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
