William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the equally regal Renee Young. Renee, we're still reeling from last week's episode. Cody Hall turned on his own father Scott Hall in brutal fashion."
Renee Young: "I'm still shaking my head over it. Not only did he betray his father, but he appears to have aligned himself with the 'House of Truth' as well. Has Cody Hall sold his very soul? We'll find out later as he is interviewed by 'So Cal' Val."
Regal: "Speaking of the 'HoT,' 'Priest of Punishment' Mikael Judas is seeking retribution this week with new--and very unlikely--tag team partner 'Ticking Time Bomb' Jason Justice, as they do battle with Jay Lethal and 'Universal Soldier' Gunner, who left Judas laying a few weeks back."
Young: "That should be a war!"
Regal: "We also have a couple of number one contender matches. To say we have an exciting episode ahead is an understatement. Let's go to the ring and Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions to our first match!"
Match One ~ Eight-way Elimination" match to determine the number one contenders for the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Bloodbound Warriors"--Grey Wolf & Red Scorpion vs. "War Machine"--Hansen & "Godzilla" Jax Dane vs. "C & C Wrestle Factory"--Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander with Veda Scott vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony vs. "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr., & Lance Hoyt vs. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs. "All Night Xpress"--Rhett Titus & Kenny King vs. "Meiyu Tag"--Katsuyori Shibata & Hirooki Goto
This was more of an explosion than it was a match. There were three referees present to try and house the action. "Bloodbound Warriors" and "War Machine" were the first two teams eliminated, as all four men fought to the dressing rooms and were disqualified. "Meiyu" was a surprise third elimination after Shibata was pinned in an "O'Connor Roll" reversal by Brice Anthony. "WGTT" and "ANX" resumed their old feud in this match. Both teams were counted out after Benjamin took out all four of them with a "Somersault Dive" from the top rope to the floor. This left "SoS," "KES," and "C & C" to war it out. Boomer Payne and Lance Hoyt actually worked together to lay waste to Coleman, which set him up for the "Killer Bomb." Brice Anthony then came off the top rope with a "Missile Dropkick" on both members of "KES." This allowed Cedric Alexander to hit "Overtime" on Smith for the pin. "SoS" quickly took advantage, dumping Alexander to the outside and nailing "Steel Curtain" on Coleman. Veda Scott stopped the referee's count. Payne grabbed her, kissed her, then bent her over his knee and walloped her backside three or four times. In the interim, "C & C" recovered. They hit an assisted "Sky Splittah" on Payne for the pin.
Winners and new number one contenders to the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship = "C & C Wrestle Factory" by pinfall in a total match time of 20:16
This result brought out "Kingdom" members and NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions Michael Bennett & Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis. They stood on the entrance ramp and playfully applauded Coleman, Alexander, and Scott.
Regal: "What a match! 'C & C Wrestle Factory' has done it!"
Young: "They have broken through the proverbial glass ceiling to become number one contenders, with a huge assist from manager Veda Scott."
Regal :"'The Kingdom' does not seem impressed."
Young: "They should be. 'C & C' is as talented a tag team as there is in the world right now. They are one of the reasons why the tag team division here at NWA: Show Time is on fire right now!"
Regal: "Fans, we promised you an interview with Cody Hall. Let's take you to 'So Cal' Valerie right now."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm standing by with Cody Hall, Truth Martini, and the 'Hoopla Hotties.' Cody, last week we watched you turn on your own father Scott Hall, as he was about to hit the 'Razor's Edge' on Brock Lesnar. then, you left with Truth Martini. You must explain your actions. Why would you betray your own father?"
Cody Hall: "Betray?! I betrayed him?! Scott Hall betrayed me as a young boy! He was never home! When he was, he was stoned or drunk out of his mind! What kind of father does that to his only son?! Who betrayed who?!"
Wyndham: "Cody, the world thought your dad made amends with you a few years ago when he got clean and sober. He even helped train you and really broke you into pro wrestling. Is this how you repay him?"
Hall: "Repay him? For what? He gave me twenty years of heartache. Who's repaying that? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad 'Scottie' is finally clean after all these years. But, he owes me so much more than I ever owed him. Truth made me see the light. I'll admit, I was on the Scott Hall bandwagon. It was a 'feel good' story for everyone. Truth showed me the error in my thinking. He showed me that dad was just using me to perpetuate a good reputation, since he had ruined his in the 90's. Truth Martini did what his name implies: he spoke the truth, the real truth, to me. He didn't snow me like 'dear old dad' did."
Wyndham: "So, that explains things. You were manipulated by Truth Martini into thinking your father did what he did for you out of selfish motivation."
Martini: "Allow me to take this one, Cody. Valerie, sweet Valerie, don't let your ambition to get a 'story' cloud your judgment. I have never manipulated anyone. I simply present the truth to them that no one else is willing to. You see, sometimes, the truth is an ugly thing. Most 'candy coat' it to spare people's feelings. I refuse to put sugar on top of horse crap. Scott Hall fed his son a pack of lies. Everyone knows it, but nobody wanted to say anything because they all wanted Scott Hall to finally 'kick' his demons and make something of himself again. Well, congratulations, 'Bad Guy.' I guess you got your wish. It only cost you your son...again."
Wyndham: "Cody, I just think..."
Hall: "We didn't ask you what you think. Here's all you need to know. I'm with the 'House of Truth' now. I'm ready for the big time. Truth Martini has been a better father to me in a few weeks than Scott Hall was for a lifetime. This interview is over."
Regal: "Somber words from Cody Hall and Truth Martini."
Young: "It's sad to hear Cody say those things. I can't believe he has chosen to put his trust in that 'snake in the grass' Truth Martini. To hear him call Martini a 'father' is sickening."
Regal: "A sad state of affairs indeed. We have yet to hear from Scott Hall. As you might imagine, he has taken some time off to collect himself. After the break, we'll head back to the ring."
Match Two ~ Number One Contender for the NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Tetsuya Naito vs. Dean Ambrose
Ambrose, coming off the carnage that was the "Six-man Barbed Wire" match at Saturday's Clash of the Champions spectacular, was in no shape to wrestle. But, you know Dean. He has never refused a fight. Ultimately, Naito was simply too much for Dean to handle in his still weakened state. He hung on for as long as he could, but Naito finally finished him off with the "Stardust Press."
Winner and new number one contender for the NWA: Show Time Television Championship = Tetsuya Naito by pinfall in 10:22
After the match, Naito was confronted by the "Cosmic Brotherhood" of Goldust and Stardust. Stardust grabbed a microphone.
Stardust: "So, that was the infamous 'Stardust Press,' eh? Well, you should be careful what names you call out, Naito. You have summoned the 'Cosmic Brotherhood' to your playground. You will soon see the stars swirling overhead, and you feel what Stardust really is all about!" (Stardust hissed as Goldust smirked at bit at the camera)
Regal: "That was our first look at the 'Cosmic Brotherhood.' They are a strange pair."
Young: "Yes, and they look to be singling out Tetsuya Naito over the use of the 'Stardust' name for his finisher. Bizarre brothers, to say the least."
Regal: "Fans, let's go to our 'woman on the street,' Laura Cruz!"
The scene cut to "Locker Room Lovely" Laura Cruz, in the backstage area.
Laura Cruz: "Hello, everyone! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with all the latest news and gossip from NWA: Show Time! Coming off a huge Clash of the Champions event, we now have a new NWA World Women's Champion in Gail Kim. She defeated Manami Toyota with the help of Kana. Word on the street is that Toyota is as mad as anyone has ever seen her. You know what they say. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I'm sure Toyota will address this issue in the coming days. Clash of the Champions also saw CM Punk retain his NWA World Championship thanks to the help, once again, of Brock Lesnar. This business relationship they have going certainly benefits Punk, but what is Lesnar getting out of it besides a check? Is that enough? The ladies division has just added a new bantamweight class and has signed no less than twelve new lady grapplers to the roster. The championship tournament is slated to commence very soon. I've heard that there are a few members of the existing roster who would love to get in on that tourney. We'll see how that shapes up. That's all the time I have for now. I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "Thanks, Laura! After this commercial break, we're back for our main event!"
Match Three ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice vs. "House of Truth"--Jay Lethal & "Universal Soldier" Gunner with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"
The combination of Judas and Justice was everything we thought it could be when the company first opened. It's amazing to think that these two nearly killed one another just a couple of months ago. Now, they're allies, and powerful ones at that. They took the fight to the "HoT" without mercy. They were ruthless. They were aggressive. They were vengeful. Gunner was split open and bled profusely. Justice seemed to enjoy the taste of it as he sadistically gnawed on Gunner's forehead. The end came when Justice hit the "Psycho Slam" on Lethal to take him out of the match. He and Judas then launched Gunner with a double "El Crucifejo" that nearly broke the ring in half when Gunner's lifeless body thudded on the mat.
Winners = Mikael Judas & Jason Justice by pinfall in 8:19
After the bell, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and "The Kingdom" hit the ring for a mass beating on all four men. They singled out no one, hitting multiple finishers on them all. Jordan Richards grabbed a microphone.
Jordan Richards: "Let this be a warning shot to everyone on my roster. 'Starrcade 2K15' is less than one month away. It will be the single biggest event in professional wrestling history. I can guarantee that these people standing triumphantly with me will play a MAJOR part in it. I'm serving notice. We will continue to run roughshod over anyone who steps foot in our path. Our reign of terror is just beginning and, as you all will see, the path of carnage and destruction will be so vast that you will scarcely comprehend it. There is a master plan in place and it is mere weeks from fruition. Mark my words, Jordan Richards is about to change the face of this sport!"
With that, the group posed triumphantly as "Ladies and Gentlemen" played in the background.
Regal: "Oh my! What an emphatic statement was just made!"
Young: "As if he didn't before. But, Jordan Richards and his crew mean business, and that business will be huge, according to our CEO."
Regal: "It appears so, sunshine. That's all the time we have for today. Fans, please tune into TNT this Thursday for Show Time Femme Fatales, and join us right back her on TBS this coming Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour. For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now."
